Which of these do you want to see die in Star by Star?

Borsk. I've got nothing against the guy, but now that he has no control over the Jedi, his purpose is gone.

 

Well, I voted for Ben...

This could be a hard blow, IMO, even worse than Chewie's death... Would be good to see really tough SW book...

But I doubt it, and I have almost no idea of who can be killed...

Skywalkers (Luke-Mara-Ben) : Just begun a family. Can't be killed.

Solos (Han-Leia-Jaina-Jacen-Anakin) : Already lost one 'member' of the family. Solo wouldn't be able to survive another hard blow. If a Solo dies it's Han, but he's one of the most beloved characters. Can't die.

Jedi (Corran-Kyp) : I think we'll see a big confrontation between Luke & Kyp, so I think this latter won't die. Now for Corran... Well, he's the guy I see with the meaner future, but he already lost Ithor, it would be tough to make him lose his life.

NR (Borsk-Viqi) : Could be Borsk, but this guy's sticky. I think he'll get through NJO almost without a loss. As for Viqi, I think she'll be the traitor dealt with in the novel bearing the same name.

YV (Nom Anor-Other) : Nom Anor will probably turn to the NR, as some have discussed. I agree with them, and I think it will happen in HC4, so he can't die yet. That leaves other...

I really have no idea about who will be killed. Del Rey is probably going to surprise me on that one. (Now if it's Borsk, I'll be less surprised, since he seems to be everyone's favorite candidate to death...)

 

I say Luke. Down with the Whiner.

 

I can't say that I WANT any of those people to die, but I do know that I want Kyp to live.

I really have nothing against Mara, but she gets my vote for a few reasons.
She has just had a baby I can imagine the incredible emotion possible if she sacrificed herself for Ben. I can picture Luke's anguish, at Mara's death, and having to raise the child himself.
I also vote that Tahiri turns to the dark side...

 

Borsk, the sniveling bothan deserves a slow and painful death....Hated him in TTT and HoT...hate him even now...

Basically, I voted for other. It's time for someone not too main charactery (not a word, but bear with me) but important to go.

I realize how stupid it sounds, but I'm still waiting for Conquest and Rebirth to come in the mail.

 

Nom Anor better run fast and far.. Tsavong Lah already promised him death for failure. That, and theres the mystery of the 8 or however many warriors at his disposal.

Solo, possibly, but I doubt it. Not because hes 'beloved' - Chewie bit the dust early.. but because hes the father of 3 big thorns in Tsavong Lah's side.

I want Kyp dead. I hate him. It was a literary mistake that he survived the end of Jedi Academy. Then he goes totally unpunished all this time. After killing over one bazillion people, you'd think he would have a huge bounty on his head. A real Jedi would spend the rest of his life repenting for the deaths he caused. Every time I see him, I think its an insult to Luca's idea of the Jedi. I hope he dies scared and alone, after a lot of suffering.

 

I hope Mara dies, but I doubt she will.

Brosk needs to die!!!! I haven't liked the guy since they first introduced him. He always is trying to cause trouble for someone and right now hes messin with the Jedi and it's really making me mad. The Jedi are the only reason the Vong haven't already taken over the galaxy. And to thank them he orders the arrest of Luke. It's very disapointing to see what the New Republic has come to be.

I hated it when Mara didn't die in rebirth. after Ben's birth though... Kill, kill, kill, after all it's war.

 

I chose Borsk, after his good character dramatization in the beginning of the series his presence is starting to wear thin.
I love the character and everything he has done in the EU, but he?s quickly outliving his own interest.
Other characters such as Nom Anor or Viqi Sheesh have risen to take his place in the political and galactic stage, leaving him to be more of a third wheel then the conniving coward he used to be.
