I have a work con to go to Sunday through Tuesday, so I won't be able to do much partying on Saturday. I'll try my best on Friday though.

Chicago Force will NOT be throwing a party at Windycon this year. We generally throw one every other year. But, honestly our parties deserve a much bigger space than what's available at this convention.

My husband I will be there. Being a new member I was hoping for a room party to meet some of you, but oh well maybe at Cap.

 

Stop by the fan table and you can meet us... not only that, but we'll be able to arrange a meeting time/place for party trawling.

 

No CF party at WindyCon? How else will we be expected to work off our hangovers when there's no room full of garbage -or bags and bags of trampled packing peanuts- to clean up?

Not... not that I ever helped clean up at WindyCon. I did step on lots of packing peanuts, tho. Boy, that was fun. I sure pity the poor suckers who had to clean up those parties the next day.

We've gotten into the rhythm of doing a party every OTHER WindyCon, and this just happens to be one of the off-years.

 

Ok people, the con are mere weeks away and no one has told me if they need a ride! I need information so I can make arrangements to pick people up let me know.

 

Can we come in Costumes to WindyCon?? I think my and my dad will be there if so. It sounds pretty cool. Compared to WizardWorld, how big is it?? I really would appreciate knowing considering that I have not been the previous years, although I will not fear! (why am I talking like this) so you guys are getting drunk, aye? Well no party for me then.

 

Of course, costumes are welcome! In fact, there is a masquerade on Saturday at the con. Click here for details. The Great Luke Ski will be performing his songs during the halftime of the contest. He has some very funny songs and a new CD this year, so it should be a good time.

Yes, costumes galore! People wear them during the day, and you can tell when the costume contest ends on Saturday as the halls become flooded with all sorts of costumes.

As for size, it's a hotel con. It's tiny compared to WizardWorld (which is the second biggest comiccon in the country) but packed with fun.

 

If I can get there I'd be glad to help out at the CF table.

 

Yes, Windy is only a 10 days away. I need a break in my busy life and it will be nice to geek out with friends and fellow SW Fans!

 

Executor....if you are in Chicago...Amber Eyes is looking for a ride.....maybe you two could hook up....

I will be there Saturday morning before 10:00 am (in Jedi garb) to help set up Chicago Force table if needed...and to volunteer.....so make sure you introduce yourself Executor.....Sunday....not so sure that I will head back...I did send my money in for both days...haven't heard back from them...but they cashed my check...so I guess I check into that when I get there...
