Wow, just got back from the Episode 2 screening. You wouldn't belive it. They put the borg in the background on Coruscant. Heh.

 

I couldn't beleive they had JarJar making out with one of the hand maidens. How weird is that?

 

Boy, I don't know, but she seemed to be enjoying that tongue of his...

And who knew Yoda would look so good in a g-string?

what about the projectile vomiting contest in the Senate Chamber? Looked like a bleeding vomit fountain, kinda beuatiful if you could ignore the fact that it was vomit. That Ithorian vomit was definatly the coolest, although the Duros vomit was not far behind. Can I say vomit one more time? vomit. Yes.

 

I really loved that little N'Sync musical number....

Wouldn't that be more like rubbing your eyebrows out? It's awefull hard to pluck something with a pen.

What I didn't get was Senator Laa Laa. Now, Senators Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Po - they were perfectly cast. But Senator Laa Laa was just too big a stretch for me.

 

Laa Laa was the best senator!
That moving ten minute speech was the best!

That Anakin and Padme love sceen.... Didn't realize they could show all that in a PG movie. I could have done without Anakin's "Yipee!" at the end of it though.

Overall I rate the movie 3.5 stars. It would have gotten a full 4 stars if the revelation of Sebulba being Darth Sidious had been done in subtitles and not that goofy English accent. I guess GL's starting to do a little Imperial connections with the development of all evil commanders being British.

Hey, did anyone else find it odd that they brought Darth Maul back without legs? You would think that he would have some cybernetic prosthesis after 12 years. Oh well, he looked prety kewl in that black and red diaper.

What threw me the most was the Britney Spears Pepsi commercial they had playing in the Cantina (Pepsi please send a check to BaseDeltaZero c/o South Bend FF OU812 Asteroid Blvd, South Bend IN TK412) and did you notice Bob Dole sitting in the corner petting his dog.

 

That wasn't a dog - it was Mrs. Bob Dole he was petting.

I loved the final battle sequence where all the pokemon rushed onto the field to help the Jedi.

 

Ya, those little guys were flying left and right bouncing off of this and that.

 

I just about forgot about this. In that same battle scene a wookie used his claws....oh wait...never mind. That was Knnos.

 

Yeah, I saw him cut up Amidala's back in the trailer...bad dog!
