So, Tom. Now I am supposed to interview you.

 

Yeah, something like that.

 

This Monday there will be another eviction. How do you think you'll do? Will you survive?

 

I think I'm toast.

Yeah, most likely but it doesn't bother me at all. I made it to the end with you guys, and for me it was all about the ride, not so much the destination.

 

When did you start feeling the game wasn't about winning or scoring anymore, but about befriending some cool people -- as your sig says?

And did you expect it?

 

Hmmm, no I can't say that I expected it. I didn't really know what to expect.

But oddly enough, it seems like that's what it's always been about. Sure at first it was a bit awkward and maybe we were a bit more focused on the tasks and what not. But getting to know you guys has been the best part of the game for me from the very start.

 

OK, but has anyone ever told you that the guy in your icon / title looks like Otto from The Simpsons?

 

No you're the first but I can see the resemblance. He actually acts quite a bit like him too... except that he's always in trouble with the law.

 

Talking about trouble: after Derek (wild_karrde) was evicted, he said some things like "Big Brother is a retarded game", "it was a boring place", and that he was glad to be voted off.

What do you think about that?

 

Bah.

Pretty much yeah.

That's a person I prefer not to think about. He didn't add anything to the game while he was here, and his sour grapes since leaving would be somewhat laughable if they weren't so damn pathetic.

Have you ever entertained the thought of meeting the people you liked best here in real life, and what that might be like?

 

Most definitely. I think it would be a blast... you, me, Kerryn, Meg, maybe some of the others, I'm sure we'd hit it off. We're just way too cool and have too much in common not to.

 

How do you think you came across to those others -- me, Meg and Kerryn?

No really, I have no idea, but I do wonder sometimes. I hope I came across as fun-loving, yet thoughtful... someone who loves to have a good time but who you can count on to be there for you when everything isn't going great.

 

What did you regard as one of the low points in this game -- something that, maybe, disappointed you a bit?

 

Well, the situation with Erik campaigning behind our backs was certainly a bit disappointing, and when the intruders first arrived that was a bit of a low point as well.

But really there weren't many low points at all.

 

Do you think the way epic ran the game contributed to its success for you personally?

 

Sure, but to be honest it played a rather small part. Some of the tasks were fun and helped to bring us together a bit, but the success of the game was really all about the people for me, all about you guys.

 

Looking back, what would you have liked to see more of? Or generally: would you have liked to see anything added to / removed from the game?

 

Hmmm, no I really can't imagine the experience being much better for me.

But I think if epic wanted to get more interest from the JC he could have done more secret, sort of behind the scenes stuff to stir up drama. I'm very glad he didn't do that however.

 

So you feel the game could have done without most of the gimmicks -- like the latest intruder invasion?

How did you expect the JC to react to the game?
