Wash, DC X-Men 2...?

The movie opens May 2. Do we want to all go see the movie together? If so, when? Should we try for opening night or wait till Saturday?

 

I'd like to go en masse. Saturday afternoon maybe more accomodating for the group as a whole, but I'm open to anything.

 

I agree that Saturday is better for me, as I work late on weekdays. But if we have to do Friday, I can probably leave work a little early.

 

I am a maybe...I don't know my weekend schedule for May.

 

Saturday is generally better for most people, I think. Or Sunday. My schedule is going to be crazed soon as we're starting the househunting process this weekend, but I'll still coordinate and then you all can tell me the fun I've missed.

 

I work the 3rd and the 4th.You guys go ahead i can catch it here at home. It will probably be easier for all of you to go on saturday, Friday night would probably be difficult and busy.

 

If more people can go on Friday, I can probably swing it. It just depends on the where/when.

 

I have a match on the saturday, but I'd be free on sunday. Friday night wouldn't really work for me.
I thought the first X-men was pretty good, and I love the trailers for the new one

Ok, first, I need a list of who is interested and what day they can go - Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I'll take it from there. Also, give me theater location preferences - otherwise, I'm picking a theater that I know how to get to, which will be Potomac Yards.

 

OK, I am good for any of the three days. Sundays are typically the least crowded though...

Any theatre is fine, Potomac Yards would be a top consideration, as would Hoffman Center (Metro).

 

Put me down for either of the three days.

I liked the Potomoc Yards when we went to see Dreamcatcher, so thats a good choice for theatres.

 

Sunday would be a better for me. All my big plans are on Friday night and Saturday.

 

Friday is good for me. I do not care about the location.

 

So far the winning day is Sunday, with Val, Mutt, Ric and Malkie able to go, and possibly me and Ken if househunting doesn't rule our lives (to make up for us being MIA so much in the near future, when we get a place, I'll coordinate a party). If people can't go after all on Sunday, then Friday is the winning day with Val, Mutt and Sharon able to go. I'll make it official after giving time for folks to back out. (tomorrow)

The Hoffman at Eisenhower Avenue is the location, time TBD.

 

Throw Heather in for Friday or Sunday, whichever. I think SB said she wanted to go to, but it depends on her work schedule.

after all the excitment................I'm flying to Florida on Sunday for business, returning on Monday afternoon.

I think malkie just doesn't like us anymore. He seems to have so many excuses not to see us these days.

If anyone ever wanted to meet in central DC on a week night for a couple of glasses of blue milk in a metro situated cantina, then I'd be all about that. I realise though, that this doesn't work for many people.
