X-Men 3

I used the search function but the only topic that came up was a locked one. So here we go.

I'm just wondering what the status of this film is. I know Bryan Singer and John Ottman are not involved this time. I know Mathew Vaughn who produced Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is apparently directing this.

I'm not sure who all is signed for this flick. I see what it says on the IMDB (which isn't very accurate some of the time) but may be somewhat for right now.

Maggie Grace to play Shadowcat
Kelsey Grammer to play Beast
Hugh Jackman to return as Wolverine
Famke Janssen to return as Phoenix
Vinnie Jones to play Juggernaut
Ian McKellen to return as Magneto

I figure the Phoenix will feature quite a bit. I also figure the Brotherhood will have reformed with new members.

So what are your thoughts? What do you hope for? What do we know for sure?

 

Last I heard, the Phoenix wasnt going to be the main plot point.
