The title speaks for itself- what has been your favorite episode of the first half of Season 2?

Since our polls can only have 10 voting options, the LACWCAC mods have decided to combine "Grievous Intrigue" and "The Deserter" due to them being aired together AND being more directly related than "Holocron Heist" & "Cargo of Doom".

Be careful when choosing - the answer button is sometimes a little above each poll option, next to the colored percentage bar, which is above the episode title!

I can't believe that I am voteing for it (I thought I would dread the episode), but I went with "Lightsaber Lost".

I went with Grievous Intrigue/The Deserter- mostly for GI, which had great dueling banter and awesome space action, as well as creative shipboard combat. So my vote goes mainly there, but I do appreciate the character development for Rex in The Deserter, as it went into more depth on those issues than I would have expected this series to- almost approaching the quality of an EU comic or novel in that regard.

Lightsaber Lost and Landing at Point Rain would my runners up, though.

There's been many great episodes so far.

It was a close contest between Legacy of Terror and Grievous Intrigue, but I had to go with Legacy of Terror.

I really liked the Aliens factor of the episode, particularly with the incredible mood lighting from the lightsabers and the clone helmets.

This really put the Geonosians into "scary" category, whereas in the films they seemed mostly harmless to me.

Obi-Wan was hilarious, particularly when Luminara was about to get wormed. Also, badass goggles on Unduli in the sandstorm.

Only things I didn't like were (a) the Queen's voice, and (b) the fact the Queen spoke Basic, although the 2nd one didn't bother me as much.

The Deserter comes in as a very close second for me due to shirtless Rexy ( =P~ [face_laugh] ) and in the introduction of a clone who actually lives what you would call a normal life. However, I chose Brain Invaders, because it was a combination of dark and creepy. Dark in Barriss' "kill me" thing, and creepy from those brain worms.

Grievous Intrigue and The Deserter for me. An awesome tag-team of superb action and banter, with a follow up of a nice look into a deserter and his interactions with Rex. :D

Season 2's been doing a lot of things right so far. Their ability to tell and show stories has come a long way since season 1!

    10. Children of the Force
    9. Holocron Heist
    8. Lightsaber Lost
    7. Landing at Point Rain
    6. Weapons Factory
    5. The Deserter
    4. Legacy of Terror

    1. Cargo of Doom

Really loved Cad Bane in this one, and the action/plot were great. Lots of cool anakin/ahsoka moments.

Tough choice. It's been good! The clear duds to me were the opening three episodes, and they weren't bad at all... they just have a lot of Season 1-ishness that the subsequent episodes have grown beyond.

I would never have thought that something called "Brain Invaders" would be my favorite *anything*, but there you have it. Close race, though... lots of contenders.

I'm surprised at the low showing so far for "Point Rain". It was damned good, and had a lot of what I'd think would be fan-fave elements.

"Landing at Point Rain", definitely. Everything from the superb animation, to the bubble turrets, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Obi-Wan's last stand, Waxer and Boil, flamethrowers, the arrival or the reinforcements, the music, and so on... Loved it.

My vote goes for Cargo of Doom. This is an episode that was obviously taken very seriously, and I appreciate that. We had some great action with the shiptop battle and the zero-g fight, and some great drama with Cad Bane's trap. It was a fairly unpredictable episode, which is a very rare thing for this series.

    Landing @ point rain
Loved the WW2/Nam feel, from the heavy losses "disembark", the cutting through the anti-tank defenses, the "machine gun nest", the troops sitting on top of the AT-TE, the use of flame throwers, the bombing run, and the last assault to the shield generator.
As mentioned above, the Kenobi's last stand was a very powerful moment, the master was badly wounded, little he could do to help his troops, but he had the determination to face the overwhelming forces standing with his lightsaber ignited.

The deserter was a runner up, Cut is a very interesting character, and while a deserter he was certainly not a coward, maybe was his "programming" to protect or maybe something else but he was determined to fight for his family and even die for; for a moment we thought he could be blasted by the B-X.
    A great an emotive episode.

The 'Deserter' was my favorite episode of the season - funny enough, I also adored "Rookies" - and although I amd a fan of the OT and the prequal trilogies overall, as far as the CWS, I'm really enjoying the 'clonecentric' pieces the best!

    I'd go:

    1. Legacy of Terror
    2. Grievous Intrigue
    3. Brain Invaders
    4. Landing at Point Rain
    5. Weapons Factory
    6. Children of the Force
    7. Cargo of Doom
    8. The Deserter
    9. Lightsaber Lost
    10. Holocron Heist
    11. Senate Spy

#4-8 tend to switch around all the time, but the top 3 are certain, as are the bottom 3.

Those are the questions that make me wonder..............
So yeah, I chose Landing. :D

    Brain Invaders.

I dunno... Seeing a crazed Bariss Offee running around hissing, "Therrrrree you are! You can't
    hide from ME!"
with a parasitic tubeworm writhing out of her mouth just makes an impression.

I'm going with Children of The Force.

Yes, I know the ending seemed rushed, but what sold it to me was everything in between. You had political drama, you had action and you had emotion driven character building. There were moments of interaction in there, particularly between the Jedi that you don't get in any other episode and I felt that's why I chose to watch this show from the start...

The part that stuck out to me and I hope to see more of in the future were the two scenes that involved Anakin, Obi Wan and Windu in the hangar bay as they escorted Bane on board their ship and everything until the end of the conversation Anakin had with Palpatine.

    Top class television there.

Landing at Point Rain. The action sequences were amazingly well-done, and the plot and dialogue were pretty good as well. It's the only episode of the series that I've enjoyed without any reservations.

Yeah, and to think that even Senate Spy has one. Holocron Heist was a very good episode, I guess it's just not anybody's favourite.

All episodes have potential to suprise. They are all just ruined by a ton of previews. Now they don't do that anymore...
Point is, Cargo wasn't all that different but if people enjoy it, that is fine. I just don't understand how an episode with such bad dialogue had so many favorites.
I am still mad that Denal is dead. Makes me want to cry when I see the charac...I need a moment.............. :_|

Really though ([face_laugh]). Why exactly is Senate Spy winning the bottom votes? o_O
