I have always found this to be a great way to
    1. find out more about people by their choice in movies
    2. find great movies that may have been missed otherwise

There is only one rule-you cant include star wars in them (i know your saying WHAT! right now but if I included them 6 of the ten would be used up). What I want to find out is what is your top ten other than Star Wars. Dont be afraid to put rare and publicly unpopular movies here. If you liked it someone else on this site might too but might never have heard of it before. Dont include other popular movies (these are the movies you wish would have made it big, but still make you smile everytime you watch them). Example would be if I included the matrix or Lord of The Rings trilogy-these are widely popular movies. Post the movies you think nobody would post but you saw something in them.

Heres mine (like I said if I could include star wars this list would be totally one sided)

    1. Last Dragon
    2. Boondock Saints
    3. The Monster Squad
    4. Condorman
    5. The Pirate Movie
    6. Wild Geese
    7. Election
    8. Varsity Blues
    9. Battle Beyond The Stars
    10. Siverado

    In no particular order...

    1. Equilibrium
    2. Gattaca
    3. The Lion King
    4. Gladiator
    5. Million Dollar Baby
    6. Swordfish
    7. Pirates of the Caribbean (the third in particular)
    8. V for Vendetta
    9. Iron Man
    10. Minority Report

LOTR and SW go without saying, naturally. A few of those are the really popular blockbuster type, but I like those movies. :p

Saturn 5 still kinda creeps me out to this day. I think if I would like to see anything remade it would be that with some great special effects.

Yeah another Equilibrium fan! :D And I forgot about Underworld and Batman Begins for some reason - those should definitely be in my top 10 as well, but then I'dve to figure out which 2 to remove, so maybe it's all good.

And I still have never seen Titanic, ever. :p

I havent see n Equilibrium, but on 2 peoples advice. I guess it will. I guess this post should have been "your top 100 of all time" its really tough to pick the top ten 10. I was thinking the same thing about the casting of Saturn-who would play Farah Fawcetts role?

She would make a good choice, but I was thinking supermodel type, she doesnt have to be blond. Jessica Simpson would be good, she would just need a few acting lessons or almost no lines.

I found Clerks 2 to be very lame compared to the original.

Dark City was awesome, it was such an original move. I thought Clerks 2 could have been better, it just seemed to me they were trying to hard to get a shock laugh.

Mmmmm Dark City. A personal Dag fave. Gotta check out the Director's cut.

From what I've read, it "has one of the shortest average shot lengths of a modern film; a cut occurs in the film, on average, every 1.8 seconds" that's probably why I love the way it's edited.
