Calgary 12 Backs

I started collecting vintage uncarded first twelve figures.
I swore i wouldn't collect carded 12 backs as they were just too darned expensive......
Anyway, I got my first 12 back.

I just couldn't resist.

Nice Chewbacca, I'll bring it in.

Plus am awaiting an R2 and a Sand People.
Cool.
No I can't afford it.....but there ya go!!

Nice additions and when it comes to collecting 12backs the main goal is to take your time. Looking forward to seeing them at the next meeting.

 

that's good advice, unfortunately I do rush in a bit when it comes to collectibles.
At this stage they do not have to be mint or 'A' cards only, just a nice set of 12 backs is what I am looking for.
This, hopefully, will go along with a nice set of loose first 12 figures...to be displayed together.

By the way, did that guy get in touch about his Vader stuff?

Good call on just a nice display set as it gets costly if you want super mint ones. Plus with not many known examples of certain characters some are alittle more tricky to track down. Yeah the 12backs and the 12 loose will look great together nice collecting goal for 2011.

Yes I was contacted about the Vader items, some amazing rare pieces maybe down the road.
