FF:VIC 15th February - the next StarWalking VicFF meet!

Glad everyone had fun...and the guy with the triangle eyes....wasn't Mixo.

The guy with the eyes was Lewis, he's the trivia god (after Dags of course).

The two guys that gave you the ****** off looks, they weren't Mixo either.

Spent yesterday at the Alpine Toboggan park checking things out for the meet in March. I'm pushing to get the date changed to the Sunday, I'll keep you posted on that one.

 

Guys, we did not go. As we said we weren't.

If we are ever at the same place at the same time, you can recognise us from our photos of leigh and grant on the website in our sigs. And we will recognise you from RP's site photo.

 

Unless those 2 guys were us in a different form!

 

To HawcNC - re: the absence of BladeRunner from the video clip.

Yeah good pickup, I didn't even think to use BR. I tried to use all the footage from purchased pre recorded videos as opposed to anything recorded from the TV (the only exception to this was the Buffy and Charmed shots).

I have a copy of BR that I recorded from the TV in the 1980s, along with a whole lot of other movies, but I avoided using them because of the likely quality issues.

Personally I was disappointed that I couldn't include any Star Trek footage as that would've been really apt, but I didn't have any. So there ya go, disapointments all around.

 

Dags, how can you say it was disappointing? You're video was very impressive... What's set for the next one?

Yeah, I have that effect on people... I'm just killing some time today, kinda bored...

Hey who has been plugging? Self promotion is an artform. Next meeting we are there. In disguise also.

 

I propose that Chris includes RP's poem and my poem in the next issue of "The Force" to encapsulate everything that truly is a "StarWalking Meet".

Through the medium of rhyme, we have essentially captured everything that a meet has to offer I feel.

And as for Mixo's movie...I'm in, and I bloody DARE you all VicFF, to come as well.

C'mon, support your fellow forumers! Give it a red hot GO!
