Naboo Bayou's 21 kills

Well one of the biggest porblems that people dont realize is that u have to make the kill for it to count as your kill. on the third part of the level when u are one your way to the final area Captain Kael gets attacked by 2 sets of fighters. The second set has a bomber in front of the droid fighter and that bomber is usually killed by either the droid starfighter of Captain Kael, meaning u dont get the kill. So just accelerate take down the bomber by your own lasers, then its just a matter of braking and taking down the droid starfighter behind you Kael.

 

That must be the kill I'm missing. It sucks that it doesn't count when you don't destroy the ship in BFN. It's not like that RS is it?

 

It's like that in Rogue Squadron, too.

I'm currently working on getting Platinums on Glacial Grave and the Andrevea River. I missed GG's requirements by 7% accuracy, and I missed TAR's requirements by 4 kills. I guess I'll have to try even harder...

 

I got gold on Andrevea River! I now have at least gold on every level except The Dark Side which I have a silver on.

 

I got a Platinum on Glacial Grave! Whoo hoo!

I got platinum on The Dark Side! The weird thing was I was just hoping to get a gold. I now have 15 golds and 3 platinums.

 

I got a Platinum on The Dark Side by accident, too. Weird, huh?

 

Tell me about it. I had tried three times already toget gold and each time I seemed to miss something different than the time before. Then all of the sudden I get a platinum!

 

Grrr, I missed getting a Platinum on the Andrevea river by 3% accuracy! I am so frustrated with that level...

 

I don't see how you can get a platinum on the Andrever River( or Neimoidian Plunder fo that matter). All I know is I have golds and platinums on every level and I probably won't get any more. I think I have the same medals on the same stages as Rogue_Leader.

Any tips on how to get better accuracy on Nabbo Bayou?

 

It's really easy to be accurate. Just don't use your seeker torps unless there is more than one enemy on your screen.

Also, don't fire your lasers unless you are absolutely sure you're going to hit your target. You can afford to waste a little time alligning your perfect shot.

Pay attention to how many laser blasts it takes to destroy the Gunboats and only fire that many shots at them.

 

Yes! I got platinum on Naboo Bayou! That bit about firing lasers at the gunboats really helped! My accuracy improved from 50% to 78%! I now have 4 platinums.

 

Yeah, you have to be careful and ration your shots in a lot of the levels in order to get Platinums. I've been trying to do that on Andrevea, yet I still end up missing the requirements. I got 81% accuracy this morning; 2% below what I need.

 

81% accuracy on Andrevea River! And you still didn't get Platinum! I don't see myself getting Platinum on that level within the next few months.

 

Yep. 1 shot for a mine, 2 for a turret, 1 for a droid starfighter, and 3-4 for the Gunboats.

My main problem is at the end, where you have to destroy the anti-air turrets. I need to move quickly, to avoid all the laser shots everywhere, so, in my haste, I end up missing my shots a lot.

 

Do you use the heavy laser cannon or the blasters? I use the blasters they seem to do the same amount of damage.

 

I use the regular blasters. They do a similar amount of damage and they're more accurate. Plus, it's more awkward to reach over and hit the left C button than to hit the B button.
