You should add more characters. Djas Puhr, Aurra Sing, Jodo Kast, etc. are all good additions.

Turbolaser's aren't too cool. Sure, they add to your Destoryer's stats, but you've got a lotta air already. I'd say you're lacking in force production. Take out a few of the weaker, unecessary cards, like the Battery, the Tie Cannon, and a restraining bolt, and throw in a few more locations. The Wampa Cave will give you two force. That's nice. Take out your double of Danz Borin too..and I'd take out one of the Vaders and leave in two...then in its place throw in another location or The Empires Back if you've got Tarkin, Mottie, or Tagge to throw in there.

I need some help with my playing style tho. I always tend to hide and stuff. I'm afraid of reaching out and taking any chances, and it always leads to me being force drained to death at some system, and lacking the means of deffending it. Any times where I'm just like "go for it," I end up losing major because I spread things out or don't hit up the right spots. I work best with Hoth decks--always have.

Also, I've really always wanted to do a deck with about 10-12 Systems, and 48-50 Y-Wings/X-Wings. You could force like crazy, methinks. I always wanted to try. You could do like 30 Y-Wings, 10 Correllians, then all the Y-Wings deploy for free. Throw down Yoda's Hut as a starting, and use some other high force locations to get lots of Y-Wings in your hand (draw all your force, you wont need it because dont Y-Wings deplot -1 to same site as a Vette?)

Just a few comments in bold below...

    Locations:
    Hoth: System
    Hoth: 3rd Marker
    Hoth: Echo corridor
    Tatooine: system
Tatooine system and Hoth ground sites? Not a good idea. Use the Hoth system, and add in a Hoth Docking Bay.

    Effects/interrupts:
    Alter
Dark maneuversX2 -- this is a good card, but you only have two ships that you can use it on: Slave I and IG-2000; the rest are capital ships, and this card won't work on them; maybe take one of these out...
    Double Back
    SenseX2
    EvacuateX2
    Trinto DuabaX2
    Reactor Terminal
Note:-dark maneuvers and evacuate are used also for high destiny in there...But i also use them sometimes.
There are other high-destiny cards that might be more useful than those....

    Starships:
    Victory Class Star DestroyerX2
Slave I -- see note below
IG-2000 -- these two ships are not worth it; you'll rarely get the right pilots on these ships unless you have Combat Response; either get Combat Response in your deck, or take these two ships out...
    Imperial Class Star destroyerX2
    Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser
    Executor
If you have the "enhanced" Slave I and/or IG-2000 (with permanent pilots on board) that would be good....

    Ground Vehicles:
(this is my card resource are that lacks) -- So? Ground vehicles are not necessary to make a strong deck. Don't sweat it...
    Tempest 1
    Blizzard Walker
Combat cloud car....oddly enough -- too odd; take it out! :)
    Tempest Scout
    Vlizzard Scout 1

    Droids:
(these make up my primary lost force area)
    FX-10 X4
    R5-A2X2
    Probe Droid
Way too many droids, especially the FX-10's. ANYTHING would be better than FX-10's, even generic Stormtroopers or Snowtroopers....

    Characters:
    IG-88
    Bossk With Mortar Gun
    Captain Godherdt
    Boba Fett (special edition)
    Admiral Piett
VaderX3 -- ack! lose all 3 of these; they'll never see the light of day in a real game
    DS-61-3
    Gala Yeens
Danz BorinX2 -- cut at least one of these...
    Kitik Keed'kak
Sil Unch -- lose him; you have no battleships
    Dr. Evazan and Ponda Boba
    Boba Fett-cloud city
With a couple of Fetts, a Hidden Weapon or two certainly couldn't hurt.

    Weapons and devices:
Restraining BoltX2-destiny draw and is useful against r2-d2 ...and Threepio With His Parts Showing...
    AT-AT cannon
Enhanced Tie laser Cannon -- you have no TIEs, lose it
    TurboLaser Battery
Dark Jedi Lightsaber -- lose it (like the Vaders)

    Weird "Battle Deployment" card.

Ok, I think i see what i need to do....I haven't had the time to revise too much.

Well my si unch can add power to ANYTHING, not just battleships, but i see what you mean.

The thing about turbolasers....well these aren't heavy turbo lasers....they pull two destiny and have a -6> than a maneuver on a starfighter......The clkoud car needs to go, and i am waiting on cards for ig-200 perm, and slave I-perm......so these will have to do....fx-10's....yeah, i need to get rid of those.

Well thanks, i will start revising.

    Fighter Cover

    Locations (4):

    Squabbling Delegates
    The Point Is Conceded X2
    All Power To Weapons X2
Ghhhk & Those Rebels Won't Escape Us
    Neimoidian Advisor

This is a very complicated deck, strategy-wise, so keep that in mind.

The basic idea is to flip the Objective quickly, then occupy the systems with your TIEs and cause some big Force loss while retrieving tons. Despite what you may think, one or two TIEs can indeed hold a system on their own, especially if one of them has cannons. If necessary, Ghhhk will keep me alive. Lott Dod is very helpful in that regard, because if I use Ghhhk and later retrieve it, Lott can fetch it for me.

The TIEs can swarm like gnats, and even if my opponent manages to wipe me off one location, I can almost certainly bring in a swarm of the little buggers and return the favor, especially if Lott is helping me out.

With all the drain prevention and massive retrieval I have going here, I can hold my own against most decks.

Since I can limit my opponent's hand once I flip, I figured Ability ^3 would be the perfect card to add to give my opponent some incentive to be a bit more aggressive than he may like. If nothing else, it gives me some added punch late game when it's just a drain race.

    Obi-Wan's Saber(Prem)
    Qui-Gon's Saber (Tat)

Cards I'd Like to add (if I had them):
    Amidala's Gun
    Melas
    Tahwss Khaa
    Mace(Theed)
    Sen. Palpitine
    Wookiee Strangle (maybe multiple)

    Reasoning for some card choices:
No The Camp- The 7 side says that aliens may not have their deploy costs modified, and that affects my opponent's aliens too.
Space- I feel that being able to pull Tatooine makes Celebration easy to pull off, and I don't think I can cut any more of my space stuff and still get fighters out consistantly.

I should be able to set up at the junkyard with at least one main (Usually Obi) on my first turn. After that, I'll fortify there and maybe at the Outskirts until flipping.

One nice combo I figured out on the first time I played was using Chewbacca(V) to pull Life Debt, use it to add 2 destinies, then retrieve it with the 7 side of the objective.

Battle deployment is an Admerils Orders card. When I re-do my Dark Side, I am going to add this card into the mix of things. It can make people think twice befrore going after me and my Death Star.

On another note, I am wondering if a Death Star II deck or a Bring Him Before Me deck would work better.
As for light side, I slap togather as many Capitals and Fighters and add some characters. I really don't have a theme for this one.

    He Bib,

I love TIEs so I have to reply.

Watch out with defending a system with two TIE and 1 Cannon. X-wing laser cannon (you have no overload), Sabotage [V] and Special Modifications [V] can hurt that cannon of yours. Why not play with The Emperor's Sword and Shield, they can react, retrieve and provide an ability of 3.

You also need more than 1 Ghhhk. Add another one or a Mindtricks Don't Work On Me.

If you want to setup SFS, you need more than and you haven't even got cards to look it up. Okay you have Lott Dod, but that still takes time and if Leia gets him it'll take forever.

All this your opponent doesn't know, but you still must be carefull.

If tried Senate TIEs once, but I needed to much cards for Senate and ground that I didn't have enough space for my fleet.

And how do I play TIEs?

    DEFENSIVE SHIELDS (10):
    Allegations Of Corruption
    Battle Order
    Come Here You Big Coward!
Fanfare (to get Pride Of The Empire)
    There Is No Try
    You Cannot Hide Forever
    + 4 other shields

This an old (3-4 months) version of this deck, but nothing much has changed.

    Watch out for Legendary Starfighter!

Plain Simple, just TIEs. Just spread and drain and beat them down when they come.
It?s got Tallon Rolls, Laser Cannons, Proton Bombs, Overload and High Destinies.

If they go for the Docking Bay then do the Death Star shuffle. Deploy a TIE to Death Star (retrieve), deploy a TIE to D*: DB (retrieve), initiate battle. If the draw a destiny > 0 then your TIE goes to the Used Pile and you land your other TIE. Else you let your TIE stay put.

Cards to prevent your lone TIE being beaten:
    - 2 Mindtricks Don?t Work On Me
    - Ghhhk! & TRWEU
    - Imperial Barrier (they don?t always have a counter in hand)
    - Reacting Squadrons with All Power To Weapons
    - TIE Laser Cannon with enough force left.
    - Tallon Roll your TIE/ln to your Used Pile.

    Collapsing Sites:
    - 5 Bombers and two Short-Range Fighters
    - 1 Proton Bomb and two I Can?t Shake Him
    - Naboo for Lightsaber Combat and Underwater sites
    - No Coruscant in the deck because I didn?t expect many LS Senate decks. Add the system if you need it.
    - Collapse the Death Star sites (drain for 0 on Death Star) if they have taken them both and you cannot use Come Here You Big Coward.

    Overload:
    - Remove those pesky X-wing cannons
    - Remove an EPP by tracking a TIE Bomber or maybe a planet.

Death Star: War Room because I do not want to use a vital card (We Must Acceletate) to search for this twix.

Ground forces. Only to be used for a relative safe Hit & Run, like on the Death Star or with a Ghhk in your hand. With your retrieval and the right tracking you can use them multiple times.

More and more people are seeing the power of Colo Claw Fish. If you don't think that Colo is usefull to start with, start with All Power To Weapons or Fighters Straight Ahead.

Check out www.decipher.com to see card lists. There are a lot of cards. You can usually buy some large lots on ebay for reasonable prices, and go from there. People on eBay sell both singles and booster/special boxes of cards.

There are quite a few sites that sell singles. If you have specific needs, it might be easier and cheaper in the long run to pick up what you need. A good number of sites have reduced their prices significantly.

    Rendevous Point:
    http://sorourke.home.attbi.com/

    The Card Table
    http://www.cardtable.net/

    Hedgehog's Auction (Decipher Auction Board)
http://calder.decipher.com/cgi-bin/msgbd?sw-auct (reliable dealer_opportunity to pick up many singles for very low prices)

ok first of all drop some chars for some space, you will prob win ground but you will get snapped in space, then you'll lose with force drain. Also a few more weapons, so far all you got is one lightsabre (obiwans isnt really counted caus its only on one char) Your opponant can hit and run if they have the right cards and all you can do is twiddle your thumbs, so drop some chars for some weapons, and also gain a few more effects, they can be handy.

Ill leave the rest for bib or someone

First problem I noticed with this deck: WAY too many characters. 33? Over half your deck? No, that's no good. Cut it down to 20 at most!

Why is this too many characters? For a few reasons. First of all, you'll never use them. You only have 6 locations, so you're not generating a lot of force, which means you'll be deploying few characters.

Second, this hurts your destiny draws. In general, interrupts and effects have higher destinies than characters. The only way I've found to balance your deck and have decent destiny draws is to balance your low-destiny characters with high-destiny interrupts and effects (mostly interrupts).

Try taking out 10-15 characters, and fill in those slots with some powerful interrupts, effects, weapons and ships. Use those cards to start to form a strategy for your deck.

    Hope that helps....

Your friend can't deploy Prisoner 2187 anyways, since she only deploys if Rescue The Princess is out.

We ignore that and a few other things because the odds are so against him. By the way, these are the best space and ground things he has.

As I said, there's just too many characters. The deck is horribly imbalanced. Take some of them out and mix in some good interrupts, effects and weapons.

If you need some good cards quick and relatively cheap, go buy the Death Star II starter deck(s). Start with that (that's why they're called "starter decks" after all...) and mix in some of the better characters and ships you DO have: Falcon, Spiral, Home One, BoShek, Ben Kenobi, Obi-Wan w/Lightsaber, etc...
