Closing in on Halloween...

One of my favorite holidays is Halloween, and one of my favorite things to do is dress up and party with my fellow SW fans. Both in person, and on the boards.

So what has everyone got planned? And what should we do here? I cannot resist a sock party.

 

I can't stand Halloween. Stupid teenagers coming round with a binbag tied round their neck expecting me to give them cash. They can **** off

There's got to be something completely legal you could do to scare them to death.

 

i love Halloween! I always go to a local con with my fellow ff'ers and we have a great time. Typically, we volunteer our costumed services to a non-profit or two as well.

 

I live in the UK. So thanks America for the "export"

 

Aside from here, I don't know that I'll be doing anything. It's Dad's favorite holiday so I usually help him pass out candy (he's the Grim Reaper and scares little kids) but this is my first year away.

 

I have to go play in the band for my high school's home football game. For some reason, it is on Halloween.

Our FF Halloween party will be the weekend before Halloween.

I'm looking forward to actually have trick-or-treaters this year. I bought my first house in March, and I live in a neighborhood with kids for the first time in years.

We are planning to do a children's hospital event on the 25th to entertain the children.

I'm also making my sithling a pirate costume.

one of our FF members is having a costume party on the 18th, no star wars costumes allowed... I'm going as Mother Earth, wearing a crown of flowers and a toga.

This week my husband and I are going to Nightfall, which is I guess like a Halloween festival.. I've never been, they have haunted houses, trails, and scary,comedic skits from what I can tell from the website.

Then on Halloween night my husband and I are invited to a major party that doesn't start till Midnight on, but it's not associated with FF at all, we are going though and I am gonna force myself to Karaoke . My husband Karaokes four songs a week but I'm a , I have Karaoked once in my whole life and it was in Vegas where no one is ever gonna see you again... unless you count with my kids at home. My luck the young folks at the party are gonna laugh me off the stage.. but I gotta grow some ***** and get with it!!

So far no one else in our FF has mentioned any FF ideas. Would be fun to get together earlier in the night and hang out with FF folks though.

anyway.. that's a lot of Halloween plans.. jeesh

 

Hello all, I a new to these boards.

I plan on this year of driving my truck after kids in the evenin.

(No not really, I am not that cruel, but I hope to scare their little heads off though.)

 

I'm hoping that it won't rain on Halloween which it usually does. My gf and I are talking about going on a haunted hayride in the historic district of a city not far from here.

 

I have some ideas for me... The old Monk/Friar costume or something job-specific.

 

I hate Trick or Treaters as far as I'm concerned its just begging

I got a costume today - apparently my friends and I are going to a bunch of parties.

 

What costume did you get?

 

A fairy or pixie or something. i'm going to be really, really cold

 

Getting closer with the pirate costume. I spent ALL DAY yesterday working on one darned spat for the boots (ok, I did other things in between). My machine and I weren't seeing eye to eye. It's new still and finicky.
