Warsies? But we need some sort of name. Who fans are Whovians. Trek fans are Trekkies OR Trekkers. Star Wars Fans? That is harder to say, not as cool. We need some sort of name. I'm a Whovian! Trekkie! Star Wars fan?
But I agree, Warsies isn't the best. Sounds more like WWII buff to me.

 

Seriously though, Star Wars fans have no uniform identification system. We don't have the Trek hand. We don't have a real name. We can't carry around lightsabers every day.

The problem is, not all SW fans are Mando fans.
And Mando does not have the name Star Wars in it. Whovians and Trekkies have the franchise names in them. General public doesn't know that Boba Fett was Mando. We need a actually recognizable name. But how?

I ran a search on "warsies" and it turns out, people actually use that term. Mostly Trekkies.
But I've been looking for a term for years, and I just found out! So if the actual SW fans don't use the term, it isn't valid.
