Mary Creepcon in June

I know everybody is busy freaking out about the movie coming out, but this is somewhat off topic. Creepcon is being held June 7-9, 2002 at the Baltimore Convention center. Several Star Wars personalities will be there, including Mike Quinn and Shannon Baksa. I have no clue how to do links, but the website is www.creepcon.com if you want more information. Is anybody else interested in going?

I might be there that weekend for a job interview, if I can make maybe we can meet up there sometime.

It's real easy to take the light-rail down there. The stop isn't too far from the Convention Center. Maybe we can meet and go down there together.

 

I'm even off on Friday, so I should be able to go opening day! Woo hoo!

 

Yeah, I'm off on Fridays as well. I'll be there the first day.

 

I'll be there for at least one day, hopefully two. I e-mailed the organizers over the weekend about the Star Wars guests. The guests will be there all weekend, and there will be a Q and A on Sunday. Those of you planning to attend on Friday should check Creepcon's website. I think they are having a concert at someplace called the Grotto and not at the Convention Center that night.

 

I'd like to try and make it down there for two days since I know I have a wedding to shoot on that Saturday. But what's the big deal about the VIP passes?

I'm gonna be at the Mason-Dixson star party that weekend, but it is in York, PA, real close to Baltimore, so I may drop down to see ja'll.

Hi folks. Keith here from Richmond, VA and the Moisture Farm Co-Op. I'll be headed up Saturday morning for the event. I'll be dressed in stormtrooper attire (TK1210). If you guys wanna hook up for lunch please let me know. Feel free to drop by our site to say hello.

I wouldn't recommend straying too far away from the convention center dressed as a stormtrooper.

 

Not that I was intending to, but why is that? Baltimorians not like troopers? The folks in DC loved it when a bunch of us walked down to Planet Hollywood.

There should be a handful of us there at the event. Some from the 501st Southern Garrison and some from the Carida Garrison.

Man! And I have a TDY to Georgia this weekend too! Rats! Well, you guys going better take some pictures!!

 

I think this weekend is my cousin's graduate party, so I don't think I'll be able to make it either.

But definitely take pictures, I'll put them on the website. Also, if you want, do some reporting (interviewing the guests, taking notes of the convention) and I'll post your report on the site.

I will definitely be there on Saturday, and will probably be meeting up with the folks from the 501st Legion...if anyone else is going, be sure to find the Darth Vader surrounded by StormTroopers. I'm probably the geeky looking guy standing next to them in civvies. =)
