    There goes my ******* childhood.

I may not have bought Sparkles for 20 years (I didn't know they still existed), but I have often thought about buying Tangy Fruits at the movies. And Cool Mints... or are they gone too?

I'm sure I've had snifters in the last 2 years though.

Damn me and my grown-up lack of a sweet-tooth.

PS: Can we bring back Deck?

Tangental to that story, Vanessa and I went to the movies the other night. We knew we had a while to wait 'til dinner, so bought a small bottle of drink, two single ice creams and (I think) a small bag of lollies, or chips or something.) Came to $18. i can't believe the way cinemas screw you over at the sweet counter these days. Maybe *that's* why sales of Tangy Fruits and Snifters have declined. No one can afford them any more. (I used to love those plastic tubs they came in.)

Yeah 'lack of sales' is probably because you can only get them in movie theatres, and the price is extreme.

They are certainly better than the candy options at Canadian theatres. Heck you can get hot dogs and nachos just for the movies. [face_shame_on_you]

Throw tangy fruits? OMG, are you rich? I'd never even comtemplate hurling one of those little golden nuggets. This is pretty stink, but look at CLINKERS they're back with avengance which is awesome. I remember holidays with JP and Adam sitting in the back of the car and in amongst fighting on the way to the holiday destination we'd have a bag of clinkers and we'd try guess the colour of the candy inside. Lame game but damn good eatin! What I'm trying to say is, they'll be back in 15-20 years or special releases I'm sure... I hope.

If they can revive Mello Yello they can revive anything. Expect limited edition Tangy Fruits in deluxe packaging in 5 years time.

They've already said "limited edition" runs may happen in the future.

    Marketing genius.

Apparently some people staged a protest today :)

I wonder if sales have gone up simply from Cadbury saying they're going to stop making them. Fans are probably buying in bulk and hoarding them.

Speaking of old favourites, anyone remember honeycombs?

Found a local shop selling them for charity for 80c each. I'm tempted to go back and clean them out.
