Challenge ~ Dear Diary Challenge 2010 ~ And the winner is...

Mine isn't 'dead' as such, I do hope to continue it somewhen. Could it be put in 'out of competition' instead?

 

For the November mini challenge (yes I know it's late, sorry about that) -- something to be thankful for.

Is your character thankful for something? Maybe you can work it into the diary.

Only one month to go! And then the challenge for this year is over.


So I'm interested: did you like it? Would you do it again? What would you like to change?
Any comments and suggestions and ideas even concrit are very, very welcome.

 

Sure I will do it again. My OC's have a lot to tell and I usually plan to have two posts a month with the outline for those posts written in the first month of the challenge.

Maybe once a month to interest more writers

I like writing from the POV of one character.

 

I'd like to do it again as it's a good challenge. I have no idea what I'll be doing next in terms of anything, so I probably won't take part next year. I guess it all depends on what happens in December and early January.

 

I have decided to do this again next year, and I'll be continuing with this year's diary and a new one too! I must be mad.

 

I'm ready to do this again. I've had such a great time writing this year. It's fantastic!!

 

Do you know when the 2011 Diary Challenge officially starts?

 

I dropped out of problems due to lack of interest on my part, and I learned that I am about as capable as keeping a diary for a fictional character for a year as I am for myself. That's been my New Year's resolution for something like that past three years... still hasn't happened...

Regardless, I thought that this was run very well. I probably won't do it again because of expected time constraints, but I'm interested in seeing what everyone else comes up with!

 

I did a diary a few years ago and kept it up for the year, but it's really not my style. I like to finish the story before posting. Still, I suppose I have an idea. I'll just have to think about it, if I can keep the joke going for a whole year.

Just so I can get my head wrapped around this and start plotting (evily, if I say so myself ) I wanted to make sure of two things... One, it's written in the first person, correct? and Two, I can write up an outline before Jan 1st? Just wanted to make sure I did this right... Thanks.

 

Yes and yes.

I think an outline is a very good idea. Then you'll know where you're headed in the story and don't get stuck in the middle.
