The Average Ass Kickers Draft.

 

There's nothing Average about the ass kickin' they do. 'Regular Dudes' draft ... 'No Powers' draft ... that'd be pretty fun.

I know I'm a bit late; still 12 GMs per draft is a good idea for all future drafts at the moment I'd think. Good to see it in the VG Draft.

Here is a list of people I think are suitable for such a draft.It just depends on exactly how much you want to cut off, power wise. If we want to go completely au naturale, there are some on this list that could be cut off. Or, if we wanted to allow for some leniency in the special powers department, there are some that could be added. And I know this is not everyone that here could be, this is just from existing draft lists, but there were some that I skipped.
I skipped over some of the villians, like Hannibal and Norman Bates, but they could be readded, I guess.

Good start, EF. I'd like to see the GI Joe fellas get added, for sure, and those comic book guys all look good to me (but probably not Deathstroke).

But I don't like the scenario team picks idea. Just don't. I'd rather just leave the draft void of a lot of villains and have only 1-2 villain teams.

 

Ninja Scroll? Again, never seen it, so don't know how crazy they get.



No there not that crazy EF...the main charcter 'special abilty' is to cut from afar....but even that is just the pwer of a sword thrust.


I think the main character from Assians Creed coulkd be put on the list too.

I knew I forgot someone. I forgot that we cut them from the second animated list. I was definitely thinking of them before I put this together.

And, yeah, I don't like that scenario idea either. There's not enough to flesh it out that I can think of.

 

I own 7 $50 - 100 Textbooks or complcations at home about Mythology. (I am a history nerd)

 

History =/= Mythology.


Though I like the Average Joe Draft idea. It would be ncie to see some of the cool, yet not super powered guys get so much respect they get their own draft. Since usually they aren't drafted but deserve to be this would give thme a chance to shine and get their deserved wins as well.

Along the same vein as a Crazy Powerful Draft, I think it would be cool to just have characters voted from every draft to be rolled into that one giant draft. I have always loved the MVP/All Star match we do after the Championship match, it is great to see so much power spill into one team from each conference. Great stuff, now imagine that but in one draft and EVERYONE's team has the possibility to look that good? SCHWEEET.

But you are wrong, sarcasm has gotten me this far in life. I plan on using it to get me the rest of the way through it.

Go back nine posts, to your's, you kind said it. And yeah a Best of idea was what I was getting at EF. It works, hence the voting/nominating of characters for it. It was kinda like your idea so unless you were being sarcastic.... I'm still serious. And even if you were being sarcastic I still think it is a cool idea.

Yak is kinda doing something like that, off site, but it is mainly with comic book characters with a few others thrown in there as well.

 

Are villains that few? The first that comes to mind is Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men. There's others, and I honestly think that some minor villainous characters (ie from the Die Hard movies) could stand on their own okay.

 

There are only a few villains on the lists that I have right now. I'm sure there are plenty, just need to find them. It's just that a lot of times, the villain is either overpowered, or they're not much when it comes to fighting.

 

I wasn't...its sad I can't even reconzie my own ideas ehhh?
