I used to love all the Dorsk clones that would appear. None of them seem to live long. I almost wish the books wouldn't take themselves so seriously and would use him as the Red Shirt Jedi who dies in some ridiculous way. Then in passing Jedi can be like "Hi Dorsk, remember me?" And Dorsk 96 can be like, "Sorry you must think that I am 95, I am 96. 95 tried to (insert some ridiculous death here).

Granted he would become the "Kenny" of the Star Wars Universe. If we do get a New Republic TV Series he could be the bumbling Jedi who wins the day sometimes for kids. A cross between Jar Jar and an actual hero.

Still I think that even a mention of Dorsk 98 in an EU book would cause a laugh by hardcore fans.

How would you react if a Dorsk showed up in the sequel to Legacy?

As long as Khomm exist, there will always be Dorsks and Dorsk Jedi. :)

I would be thrilled Dorsk 1042. He never was bumbling but he kept dying. Maybe retool his character to be the "Kenny" I wouldn't care.

Dorsk 93 made it to master, now he attempts to train all the other Dorsks that follow him. I heard that the cloning center even stepped up to rolling a Dorsk out a Year, new model includes built in cybernetics

But Dorsk Vista was the best, he tried to wield a double bladed lightsaber. It didn't end well

A new Dorsk would be nice. Why not a trip to Khomm again? Haven't been there since Darksaber?

The Dorsks, like Streen and various other oldschool KJA creations, have fallen by the wayside. Except for the one-eyed harpy. Alas, it appears we will never be rid of her.

I'm probably in the minority, scratch that I know I'm in the minority in this case but I would like to see some of the old Jedi from KJA's books. I like Streen a bit

Ah, but then Dorsk 1138 will save the galaxy, as was foretold in the prophecy of the Whills.

I liked Dorsk 81 and his heroic death, and while the JAT had plenty of problems, he and his potential predecessors could have been interesting (like trying to tell them apart). Of course, Del Rey being Del Rey, I think Dorsk 82 made a cameo in an NJO book only to die (which is how they typically use older canon, dig up old characters to kill them off). And yet for some reason we're still stuck with the worst character the JAT introduced (no, not Kyp), its almost as if they're trying to torment us, or their idea of a good story is really, really skewed. Not sure which explanation I find less depressing.

Does every other Dorsk always somehow turn out way worse than the one before and after?

I'm usually a huge fan of this as well... time and again I've read each and every new post-ROTJ book hoping against hope to see the downfall of that felon Kyp Durron.

And then I remember KJA is responsible for Naga Sadow and the rest of the TOTJ bunch. Hope can I hate on old Naga? And he invented Fez-Hutt. How can I hate on Fez-Hutt? Fezes are... well, you know.

Fez-Hutt doesn't excuse all the years I've had to deal with Kypster tho.

So Bib was the Major of Sernpidal? He and his army of Dorsk Jedi clones saved Chewie, then with Chewie they defeated Vongerella and freed Kyle Katarn and his apprentices.. becoming the new shadow organisation whose public branch is the Ryn Network!

Lead by Bib Fortuna and his hero "Darkwing Dorsk"

Ha, a Jedi living forever... wouldn't it have been awesome to have a guy like that in the prequel order, that way a Jedi from the prequel order could have reappeared in L-

    OK, I'll shut up now.
