Dragon Ball

I looked through the threads and was surprised not to find a Dragon Ball thread. I've started watching them all again and am on the SemiFinals of the Martial Arts tournament.

Controvertial topic #1:

Do you prefer subtitled Japanese or English dub?

 

I've been doing the same, up to the Piccolo Daimo saga. I've gotta say though, I can't stand watching it in English - it has to be Japanese for me.

 

I'm completely the opposite. The voices in Japanese all sound the same to me.

 

I managed to finish the first episode.
Barely.

Japanese is almost always the better way to go.
The people casting the dubbing don't seem to ever understand the cultural differences, and cast all the sexy women with squeeking little-girl voices.

 

To me, all of the Japanese characters have squeeky voices, even the ones I feel should be gruff, like Oolong.
