Discussion Ep. VII = Yuuzhan Vong

Not sure if this has been touched on.

My take on Ep. VII should take place around the Yuuzhan Vong War. They can bring back the "Fab Four", introduce their children and go from there in Ep. VIII and Ep. IX.

The death of Chewy (though sad) can allow his "force sensitive" nephew Lowbacca to be introduced into the new series as well as the kids of Luke, Han and Leia. It would allow to bring in new characters and we won't have to worry about another Jar Jar nightmare.

The timeline would be very close for the ages of Hamill, Fisher and Ford and make for a great way to end out their series. Not to mention spin off's that will last well after we are gone.

Just my 2 cents.

I think it's a novel idea. Disney paid billions for Lucasfilm, hired a director and a respected screenwriter, but instead of letting them create, why not just have them adapt that glorified fan-fiction? It would be money well spent, IMHO.
