Episode III Premiere, London Leicester Square May 16th 2005 - Memoirs of a North and South Meet...

Just thought I would share this pic here for all to revive some great memories, of when some of us Northerners ventured down to the big smoke for that day that will never be forgotten...Episode III Celebration Day!

but yea, that day was one of the greatest of my life (granted, i havnt done that much with mine so far ) i have such fond memories of that day

 

I so wanted to go to there...But I went to the May 18th(night)/19th(morning) premier at bury...Great film and a memorable occasion where i spent watching the film with the person that first got me to watch the old videos of star wars all them many years ago...that started such a great thing...

 

....sorry Orn - if I remember rightly I was the only one there with a digi cam that day and it was pretty frantic in between the saga marathon!

And btw, this thread shuld say that the May 16th Marathon was also a Midland meet, since Happy Ninja was there, even though he's not in that picture

 

On that top picture, FizzBin was cut off. you can only see half of him

 

You can add the welsh in as well, as Stuey was there. And by strange occurances, instead of meeting him at the bus station as planned, I met him by sitting almost opposite him on the bus, where I was also introduced to Happy Ninja.

yeah, I grew it for pterry much the two years I was at 6th form. inspired by teh first hyperspace pic of anakin. I thought it would have been poetic that I cut it 2 days befoer I went to london for the celebration day.

Hello! Whilst I wasn't there with you guys (went on my own - *Sniff* don't know any Star Wars geeks) I am from the North, and I did go, and it was so cool! I shook hands with Lucas and Hayden too - possibly one of the greatest days ever (although now I have a horrible aversion to Red Bull).
