Get well soon, Manu!

This is the Get well soon-thread for Manu (pirry), who is currently at the hospital after a head trauma. Well, I guess you read the quote from his friend Miguel, which explains most of it. I can't believe he even thought of getting a message to these boards, while injured. Well... that's Manu, for ya. Strong spirit and always thinks of the people he cares for.

All of the well-wishers for Manu, can wish him to get better soon in this thread. And give lots of hugs, kisses and your support.

I talked with Manu some hours ago (over phone), he is well. He will stay on the hospital plus 48 hours but is just a precaution and survailance from the medics.
He explained to me better the acident, was not a red ligh, was a stop sign on a cross road that the other guy didn't completly stop and when making the turn hitted manu in the front part of the bike.
The person that was driving the car went with Manu to the hospital.

Manu confirmed the car was not going fast, and it was the bycicle that absorved the shock not his body, but the helmet on his opinion did save his live, because the helmet got broken (hitted the head in the ground with strenght). That was why after, when he awaked, on the hospital was confused on the first moments trying to figure out the sittuation. He says that now he feels well, but still a bit dizzy sometimes.

I told him that ppl already replied and who, and resumed what ppl were saying. Also said this treath already existed. He was very touched and he really loves you all and thanks you, he considers you all very much friends and that is why he asked imeditaly his friend to post in his name before ppl here would be worried about his absent in the forums.
Also said that I, no matter what, need to be on the next FFE meeting

WhiteHorse called me and told me this a little while ago -- I'm sorry to hear about the accident but am glad you're now okay, Manu. Be careful with those head traumas, they can be a pain to heal fully and leave you dizzy for the next few weeks.



Had I known about it sooner, I could ahve convinced my parents to drive to sevilla, possibly. We were near the border all afternoon, having gone to see my grandpa at the hospital... Get better soon, Manu, but follow all that the docs and nurses tell you!

Complications is never a good word to read or hear
I know that with head injuries you often get delayed reactions, so hopefully this is all that it is and he'll make a quick recovery from it.
