So who do you guys think we'll end up playing? Carolina or Buffalo? I'm just thrilled the Oilers made it to the final round! They'll probably totally crack down on Whyte Ave for the final games. I sure hope all this time off isn't going to hurt them...

Instead of buffalo steaks, we are putting up a bet, a friendly wager, as it were, in the spirit of twinning our locations together. I offer your club, namely your beautiful city rep Liannb, a sandwich made with the meat that made North Carolina famous - barbecue pork - that says we of the Carolina Hurricanes will win the Stanley Cup.

Oh, and it's not that we feel Carolina's team is redneck... hard to, when a good chunk of the team are alberta boys.

My feeling stems from the fact that Carolina doesn't have much for a winter... I don't think any place that doesn't have winter should have a hockey team

While I am glad the Oilers lost, I do feel sorry for Conkers... to be put in with 5 minutes left in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final with it tied 4-4 is tough... even though it was Jason Smith's fault on the 5th goal...

 

I hope Roli is good for the next game.
