What really excites me is that it's a sequel instead of a prequel. Don't get me wrong, it was fun to see the Clone Wars on the TV but I've always wanted a sequel. The EU books that took place after ROTJ were always my favorite and knowing we get to see Luke, Han, and Leia back in action is exciting. I REALLY hope we get to finally see Thrawn in a Star Wars movie.

 

Agreed, Vezner, it would be so awesome to see Thrawn! I'm just excited because more Star Wars is always a good thing to me!

It appears as though they are putting a lot of thought into it. That is probably why, even within a two year release of the film, we are hearing almost nothing as they try and figure out which direction to take.
