I spent now more than a day searching for a good looking, FREE semi-truck. I'm not even sure if there's any more 3d sites left :(. Anyone know where to find a good semi?

Or for that matter, ye :). Scifi-3d is the best cgi site on the net, but it only concentrates on Starwars/startrek etc (science-fiction). I want to find a good site, with good free models of ordinary every life things. Right now, a semi truck.

    There :)

Sorry dark, but I would really like some higher quality models (and I've been there anyway) - I can't edit them, I haven't worked with CGi that much. I can't texture them, that's the last thing I could do. Sorry... [face_plain]

You'll be hard-pressed to find high-quality models for free. If you really want a high-res model like that, you'll need to pay for it. There are sites where you can buy models, and they'll be at whatever quality you need. Turbosquid would be a good place to start. 3D02 is another, but I can't remember if they have trucks there.
