I'm getting tickets for the Giant Screen. It costs more since it's their IMAX screen but the sound quality is much better and I think this movie needs to be heard loudly. Keep in mind though that the film itself is not in IMAX.

I don't want to hear any whining about how you have to work the next day. I have to work the next day too. I have no sympathy. The Summer Film Festival starts in two weeks! Be there or be square!!!

Honestly concidering it.

Since the movie was not shot in IMAX, how will it look on an IMAX screen? Then again, when has cinema ever been shot in IMAX? Spiderman 3, Superman 5, and Harry Potter 5 were shot digital and put on IMAX screens and there was no loss in picture quality, right? Also, the screen at Edwards isn't a full size IMAX screen anyway, it just has an IMAX projector playing on an extra big screen, not an IMAX screen. Is this line of thinking correct?

 

Cloverfield looked good on the Giant Screen.

 

Ticket bought & I'm there!!

I get out of class at 9:30, but I'll see if I can skip out early to get there a bit earlier.

Sorry I won't be much help in terms of lining up for stuff in May, thanks to class. I'll try and make up for it by camping out for Indy all day.

 

I believe I have a final at 8:30 am the next day so I will have to miss it unfortunately.

Just heard that the Nick Fury cameo in Iron Man will happen after the credits. Definately will stay for that!

Ahhh, why do spoilers keep appearing?! I just want to get through the next 7.5 hours until I see this without being tempted by the highlighted-ness!
