Oceania Is there a proliferation of drug commercials on OZ TV?

Just curious cause we have commercials about cialis,viagra, and other pills that dont really need to be on? Hell if a drug doesnt work for one thing if its get a weird side effect just remarket the damn thing for the problem that doesnt exist.


And really do you know how annoying it is for a kid to ask you what Viagra is?

 

No, we do not. If we do, they're on late at night, after midnight, with the sex line ads.

We've had ads for drugs on TV in New Zealand for years. Most are fairly laughable. Viargra, Cialis, weight control meds and quit smoking stuff mainly.

 

I hate late night TV, i was sitting in a hospital waiting room half the night with my dad once and all that was on was that quizilla show.

In regards to the topic, I don't think I've ever seen drug ads. And I've seen plenty of late night TV.

 

the more adverts the better I say. We are aging population of over weight and unhealthy people. We need those drugs God dammit
