ITT Controversy

I really liked T3, probably more than Salvation.

 

As did I. But that could be because an actual director made T3 whereas we all know that McG is an automaton sent from the future to convince humanity that we have a fighting chance should the machines take over.

I swear, if machines took over it wouldn't look like the Terminator's future, but instead would look more like Maximum Overdrive.

 

I think that POTC, as a franchise, is a PO*.

 

i have yet to see salvation (going tomorrow i think). t3 was by my books okay. of course no action movie will ever stand up to T2 (except maybe Aliens, but they're made by the same dude, so they're pretty much two sides of the same coin).

my biggest gripe is that christian bale is being chosen for like every action hero movie series i've adored since i was a child.

 

I loved T2, have not seen T3 yet and definitely not Salvation. I need to catch up, but I've been sort of busy lately. Plus all my friends want to see Star Trek and Up, both of which I've seen twice. Great movies, but am in need of something new.

 

I saw the latest, but can't even remember how it's called.
Also, I couldn't keep the faces of Marcus and John apart. The end sucked. Break my heart why don't you.

I kept thinking of Dr. Hunt when I saw Marcus. Though might have been John, too.

 

I don't like Christian Bale and thought the newest Batman flicks sucked outright. Yeah.


But not as much as Batman and Robin.

 

No bashing of TDK.
The film is awesome. I have the audio of it just so I can hear the vopice of Michael Caine whenever I want. That accent - there should have been more of him in the movie.

The only movie as good as TDK (in cinema since then) is Watchmen.

 

tdk was pretty awesome. the first time i saw it. after that it started making less and less sense. i'm not sure i could even give it a full watch through at this point.

 

In both films Christian Bale sounded like he had smoked about 3 packs a day too much.


Why?

He did it to protect his millionaire identity. WIth a voice like that, if it was recorded and checked against all citizens of Batcity, nobody could have told he was Bruce.

It's all making sense.

 

I prefer to think of it as Christian Bale is just a bad actor.

 

No, he's really merging with his roles. I can't remember a single film with him.

I liked Batman Begins, haven't yet seen the Dark Knight yet though...

The voice is a bbit croaky, but still good though...

That movie makes me feel sorry for Christian Bale.

It's an all right movie, but it hasn't helped him.
