Gorillaz. I have just acquired their new album (which I don't know if it's new or not, since I'm not sure when the release date is/was). It is full of more win than even the first album. I rejoice.

    It's new as of tomorrow.

I can see Jesus of bands for the Gorillaz (though I'd say that honor to goes to the Replacements). Definitely looking forward to Plastic Beach. Glad to hear it's good.

Yeah. I very much did not like the single when I first saw the video, but listening to it with the album I feel the opposite.

I've got their 1st two albums (very out of the norm for my usual musical tastes) and am looking forward to this one.

The Beatles are the God of bands.
I think we can allow Gorillaz to be Jesus.

Nope sorry, The Beatles were the god of bands to Zeppelin's Jesus of bands.

That claim to fame was well filled long before even 1980. O:)

Edit: let alone Pink Floyd- hel-lo!

What ever became of Stryper anyway? I bet they're all serving prison sentences for drug trafficking.

Finally purchased the CD (which was about $5 cheaper than buying it through iTunes). It's bliss. Especially Empire Ants.

Does anyone know how to find the booklet / liner notes on gorillaz.com?
