ATTENTION:
We were surprised and saddened to hear the announcement of the cancellation of the upcoming UncommonCon, originally slated for the Thanksgiving weekend. We offer our sympathies and empathize with those who worked to
make this event happen. Despite their efforts, circumstances occurred that did not allow them to host the show, and this has created a void in the weekend following Thanksgiving in the North Texas area.

We realize this unfortunate occurrence causes concern and hardship for fans, dealers, guests, all those who were planning to attend that event. In light of this vacancy in the convention schedule, we at Phoenix Entertainment, sponsors of Project: A-Kon, have decided to host a two-day mini-con/dance party on the Saturday & Sunday after Thanksgiving. We want to give displaced fans, dealers, etc. a place to go. So we would like to take a moment to announce:

ITZACON 3 - We've Gone Nuts! (and We're Throwing A Party and we Want You to Attend!)

Planned in a day, (the basic skeleton was, anyway) ItzaCon 3 will be the 20th event hosted by Phoenix Entertainment (the A-Kon people) in the Dallas area. It is an occasional event meant to serve as a party, a mini-con, a chance to hang out, and just have fun, a multi-genre relax-a-con with programming and night-time dance. ItzaCon3 has expanded to 2 days due to demand. We're known for hosting good party-cons, come join us for the
festivities!

WHEN: Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 24th-25th, (with Gaming only, open on Friday afternoon)
WHERE: Hyatt Regency Hotel, DFW Airport (In the DFW airport, between Dallas and Ft. Worth, Texas) at Terminal C within the airport.
TIME: 10am till whenever! (Dealers Room/Programming 10-6, dinner break, Dance from 9 till whenever)
PRICE: $5 per day (both days for $8), cash, check, traveler's check, money order (no credit cards)
HOTEL PRICE: $59 per night (plus tax). Mention ItzaCon to get that super low rate.
PARKING: Free - hotel will validate your ticket (keep it with you) wherever you park within the airport. They have their own garage, and in case of overflow, the Terminal C parking lot is very close.
