Tucson Jedi...bowling?!?

Hey everyone,

Just happened to see this flyer at work and thought I'd pass it along. Apparently Lucky Strike Bowling on E. Speedway is hosting a Star Wars League. You get your choice of either a Star Wars themed bowling ball (spanning episodes 1-6) or all 6 movie posters and a life-sized Darth Vader standee. The boring details follow:

Adult Program
Mondays at 6:30 PM
4 per team for 15 weeks
3 games of bowling per week
$14.95 a week per person
Each person gets their choice between ball or posters/standee
First meeting is at 6:00 PM on Sept. 12th

Jr/Adult Programs (for those of you with little ones)
Saturdays at 4:00 PM
Sundays at 1:00 PM
1 Adult and 1 junior per team for 15 weeks
2 games of bowling per week
$7.95 a week per person
Each team gets their choice between ball or posters/standee

My fiance and I are definitely going to do this!! Anyone up for joining us and having a team. I only hope I can convince him to get the posters and I will get the ball.. we won't drill any holes in it.. we will put it along side our other bowling ball, we have a diamondbacks bowling ball from several years ago that is one of J's prized possessions.. his sports and my star wars!! We are a pair. The bowling is just up our alley!

 

I'll be there...but I've been recruited by my co-workers. Still, I'll make sure to say 'hi' if I see you!

Bowling up your alley...okay, that's a 5 minute penalty...bad punning. Go in box and feel shame...

okay.. Ya'll I'm going for this tomorrow.. anyone up for doing this.. it is 15.00 a week.. Jake and I want to do it.. but if we can't find anyone to join us..well... I am hoping there are other people that that need someone for their team.. you have to four to be on the league!! Any takers at all?? I want that bowling ball and posters and standee!!! Jake can get one and I can get the other!! Anybody out there.............

 

Dude, awesome. I once serenaded guys in German in my Star Trek suit... Okay, so that's not quite the same...

 

so I sent in my email for the star wars bowling league.. but have never heard back on if I should just show up or what.. gonna have to call them again.. I fear it is too late for me.. I have already missed two weeks and destined to miss another week on Oct 31.. sigh.. I hope I get a reprieve.
