A few of us are reading the clone wars books to be ready for Ep3. First up is "Shatterpoint" by Matthew Stover
and the Boba Fett books(#1-6) from Scholastic.

 

Next up is "The Cestus Deception"

 

Tales from Jabba's palace is a good one

 

Next up on the list is The MedStar Duology: Battle Surgeons
and Jedi Healer.

 

We are now reading Jedi Trial by David Sherman and Dan Cragg.

 

Last up is Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno , the prequel to ROTS.

 

Labyrinth of Evil does do a good job of setting up ROTS. It discusses the beginning of how the Jedi are onto Sidious' trail, and sets up the beginning of ROTS.

 

Now that we've seen the movie it's time to read the book.
(I know some have already read it.)

 

Well no new books till Aug. so I was think you may like to go back and read one that came out in 2003. Tatooine Ghost by Troy Denning is a good book that gives Leia a bit of Anakin's background from his mothers point of view.

 

So went you finish reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince you can pick up the new SW book the Dark Nest I- the Joiner King.

 

While you wait for the next book in the Dark Nest trilogy, you may want to check out the new series from scholastic the Last of the Jedi. Book 1 & 2 are now in book stores. They start a few months after the end of ROTS.

 

Book 2 of the Dark Nest Trilogy comes out next week. So we be talking about "TheUnseen Queen" at our next meetup.

Geez, I haven't even read the Joiner King yet

 

I was still reading the Joiner King at the last meeting so it is OK if you don't get to book 2 by the 21th.

 

Next book is " DARK LORD:The Rise of Darth Vader " out today.

 

Next book is the 3rd book in the Dark Nest trilogy "the swarm war."

 

The next Zahn book is out on Jan. 31th.

Well we are still reading "Outbound Flight" but the next book due out is a Clone War title Republic Commando.

 

Well, I got done reading the Outbound Flight book, now I when back to read the end of the story "Survivor's Quest".

The new paperback is now out too.
"Star Wars republic commando: Triple Zero" by Karen Traviss

 

Next book comes out on May 30th.
First one of the LOTJ books-Betrayal by Aaron Allston.

 

Next book on our reading list is Book 2 of LOTF-Bloodlines due out at the end of the month.

 

I think the new Darth Bane book is out now, so that so keep you busy till book 3 of the LotF series comes out next month.

I have the 1st 7, as well as Delusions of grandeur, jedi bounty, return to ord mantell, and crisis at crystal reef. If there's any other ones I'm missing, could you bring those, too? Thanks. I'm reading Delusions of Grandeur, and there are some holes I definitely need to fill.

I just finished book 3 of the LOTF books. I need to pick up book 4 now.

 

Finished Diversity Alliance. I'll try and get through a few more and get them back to you soon.
