Spring, MO July?

The show times for the Pirates of the Caribbean at Ronnies on the 8th are 12:30, 3:45, 7 and 10:15pm. Do any of these sound good, or should I look up a different theatre...

I will get back to everyone about the camping after Sunday when we go look at the site, unless anyone has a better idea??

Ok, we went and checked out the Cuivre River site. It is very clean and well maintained. There are a lot of trees and it is about an hour from my house... The campsites themselves are not along water, but it is less then two minutes away in a car. The site is not on a river, but there is a decent lake, with a huge beach and swimming area.

I liked the looks of it, and we could get several sites together, and we marked the ones we thought would work out best. I tried to look for ones set in the back with access to restrooms/showers and there a few that would work.

The only problem that I can see would be that all radios have to be turned off at 10pm and there is strict enforcement of noise. But really, we are not the rowdy bunch anyway, just most of us like to stay up and talk...

So what is your input? We would need to make reservations soon for multiple sites...



As for the movie, personally I would prefer the 3:45 show, but if that doesn't work for anyone, I can do the earlier one. It seems that, Chris, it is up to you!!

 

Anytime works for me. As of now I have no plans, and probably won't have any for the daytime anyway.

As far as camping goes, I would love to go, but if I get the job I'm trying to I may not know if I can make it till the week of.

 

The time's fine with me, as is camping. I'll probably just stop in for a bit as it looks like I'm working the last weekend in July (not complaining I need the money bad).

 

3:45pm sounds better to me than 12:30pm. But, I like to sleep in late whenever I can. I will do 12:30pm if the groups prefers that.

Camping sounds great to me! Put us down for a family of four.

If you can't make if for camping, maybe just come out and spend the day with us. BBQ and swimming. Since it is only an hour drive. But, you might miss all the fun around the campfire. LOL!

 

Put us down for camping too. And I'll bring a bunch of firewood (assuming it's dried out now). Are we doing 2 nights? Friday and Saturday night?

Movie time doesn't matter, I'll do my best to be there, but I'm assuming the kids will be with me. Leash did you check it out for Cordi yet?

 

We will gladly do two nights, but I think our original plan was to do one.

Amy, I have not yet checked it out for Cordi. But we have the orginal and she watches it all the time, so it should be okay. I might take the kids, depends on how bad I need to get away. LOL!

 

I am thinking only one night. At least for us. Saturday the 29th. I will call and make the reservations after the 4th, so everyone will need to let me know if they are planning on staying two nights instead...and how many people. Thanks!

I think it will just be me. Rowan wants to go, but I think I will take him and Cordi to the drive-in to see it another day.

You can put me down for one adult and two kids for the movie. 3:45 is a good time. It's nice and early. When Tim gets off work we're going over to Carlyle Lake to camp for the night. Anyone want to come with us?
