Korriban: The Rise to Evil


Setting: 200 years before TPM

Over the vast years of the Old Republic and the Empire, Jedi's and civilians that believe that they somehow have the power to control and have the force come to the one planet that is born from hate. Korriban. The planet, however, wasn't always born of hate and the feeling to hold onto power. Many Millenia ago, Korriban reeked with color, with hope and with love. It then became the feeding ground for the dark ones. The Sith. The Sith took permenant residence there. Beginning by just building tents and having expeditions. Over the years, and many leaders later Korriban became a planet full of dark power. The peace left. The darkness took control of not just the landing areas but of the core of the planet. The planet itself became the dark place. They built an Academy to teach only the teachable young minds. To teach them the evil, that they had tought so many other lost minds. The same teachings that made them the most powerful beings on the planet. Till the Jedi wiped the Academy off the map. Thus the Republic was once again safe. Or so they thought.

The fight for who inhabit's Korriban has always been a mystery. Should the rightful Jedi own it, or should the Dark Jedi, who swear they won't build up the old Republic land on the planet. The Jedi Council after must deliberation decide that they must send some of their finest and most promising students and teachers to build a colony and to watch to make sure evil doesnt rise once again......

This RPG takes place 200 years before [i]The Phantom Menace[/i], which means the only Cannon character should be Jedi Master Yoda.

Biography: Sara'a like all young Jedi were found when they were younger, taken from there parent's. From a young afe it was found that she had leadership in her blood, while on youngling missions with there Master's, she would help the younger, and never leave a friend behind. However every Jedi has it's moment of darkness. Sara's was when she found out her mother was killed a Sith. She blamed it on herself through to her Knighting, till she tracked and killed the Sith. Sara'a having trained one Padawan already is now training her current Padawan. Sara'a like many other of her young friends are going to have to fight there fears. Sara'a and the other Master's on this voyage, know very well that they are travelling to where evil was created, and they all just hope there up to the challange.

Biography: A young man, tormented by the souls of his own past, Desh Rand was an Echani-born boy with the innate power of harnessing the Force. He learned much during the first five years of his life, training in the Echani arts, and mastered everything he could learn from within his community at age 12. After Trandoshan slavers kidnaped Desh and his family, he was sent into servitude under some local crimelords on Nar Shaddaa. He was in their service until his escape at 16. During the elaborate series of events that made up Desh?s life, he suffered from depression and contemplated taking his own life. This never happened of course, but momentarily after his escape, he was found and taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant after a Trandoshan Jedi Master tracked him from Trandosha. Desh was trained, but the council was wary of their decision, as the boy was filled with much confusion, hatred for the slavers, and remorse for his lost family.

Biography: Gavin was born on Tanaab to wealthy parents, but was discovered by an old Jedi Master to be Force sensitive. Gavin's faith and devotion led him to become a powerful Jedi, but pride ran strong in the Tanaabian, and the Council feared this. Nevertheless, Gavin ascended to the rank of Knight, and was one of the Council's most reliable Jedi.

Biography: Mukiruh was trained as a Jedi, when he achived Knighthood he had an arguement with his former master, the argument escalated and Mukiruh attacked his master, severly wounding him. Mukiruh ran from the Order and was trained by a Dark Jedi (not a Sith). He ended up killing that Dark Jedi in a misuderstanding, and ran. He turned up on Korriban and was trained as a Sith. He abandoned the Sith Order and is now a fugitive.

When he grew up he learned secrets from many dark side adepts and eventually was trained by a dark jedi master in the ways of the dark side. He grew powerful and fought his way off the planet stealing a high authority fighter craft in the process and driven by the knowledge that the Jedi had their faults...

Biography: Grew up with wookies as parents, his parents were killed by jedi who was supposed to be conducting a peace meeting when there was an attack by a rebel group of wookies, the jedi mistoke Volfie's parents as the enemy and killed them. Told no one about this and was trianed in the ways of the jedi, did an excellent job of hiding his memorys and his tru powers from everything, once he had learned all that his master (Jejar) could teach him he killed him and began trianing as a dark jedi.

"Land the airplane Captain."She said looking at the man. "Yes, Madam." Sara'a walked into the hallway. "Alright people. We're about to take ourselves into the bowls of Evil itself. I must warn you this mission won't be easy. " She felt the plane take it's decent. She made sure her lightsaber was next to her. She closed her eyes using the force, she felt the hate on the planet. At the same time however she felt the good that was still on the planet. She looked at the padawan's and the knights and her fellow Masters. Let's just hope we get out of this thing alive.

"Ms. Stone, we're loosing our controls." Sara'a turned around. Damn! This is why I hate flying. "Why do I have a feeling we might be having a rough landing?" The plane hit the land hard. "Holy.." The lights went black. "There still here" Was all that she said.

Volfie stood looking at a halogram of the planet with a trianlge pointing to where the ship had crashed

Vofie had been expecting the jedi to come to Korriban for some time now... thanks to the fact that the jedi didnt delete his access code he could still get into the database of the jedi archives... Volfie with the other dark jedi have been preparing for the jedi to come and had been meditating to shut down wat ever ship the jedi decided to take to Korriban...

Dark Jedi Zec Korric

Location: Valley of the Dark Lords

Zec stood before the tall pillars in the center of the Valley looking at a speck of smoke in the distance. "So, they have arrived." He sat on the rocky surface of the Valley and began to meditate. He could feel the hate, the call of the dead. A voice talked to him in his head. It whispered that the Jedi were wrong Korriban had a darker past, a stronger past then thought. He gripped his lightsaber then walked to the the end of the Valley.

Zukaan Guah, the SaberSpinner stood up immediately after the ship crash landed. The lights went out and flooded the interior with a dull fade. The padawan tried to keep calm but it wasn't happening momentarily. He felt around the ship using the force, his senses acting as night vision goggles to aid him in this desperate crisis. He felt the door handle and decided to turn it, opening the side of the ship for the light to peek through. The light shone on the insides of the ship and the Jedi looked out onto the planet's rough surface.

"The foul stench hasn't changed since I came here for my lightsaber crystal, that much is true." He admitted, poking his nose into the air whilst stepping onto the crusty dry ground.

"There are a few Jedi, less then we had thought... u should be able to take them out... if you need help i will be here."

He hears Mon's suggestion then sends a message back: "It is not time to reveal myself. I will travel to a place to a center myself you will not know of."

The journey into the academy takes little time. As he enters the ancient place he seals the door by blowing the charges to block the entrance from anyone. He continues to the place where the Sith Master use to meditate. He then sits down and meditates.

Soraan Deaga looked around the ship as the floodlights came back on, "Well not the smoothest landing ive ever experienced, but itll have to i guess... I have a bad feeling about this..."

Soraan clutched his lightsaber to be sure it was at the ready. he said, "Master Stone, should we begin to make base camp???"
