Of which?! The picture is the one Falcon drew here in the Art section, but Keven signed it for me ! He really liked it too. The figure was a gift from a dear friend for my birthday, he knew what I wanted...and he knew I'd be thrilled....and I was.

Been having an interesting discussion with Silas Allender regarding Midichlorine counts and Force Potential of Kyp and Luke and others.......any one have thoughts on this as this is a very interesting can of worms!

Silas= I always felt like Kyp had the right approach when it came to the Vong war, and was stronger than Luke himself because Luke denied his own power. That being said, by the end of the war, I was a little disappointed in Kyp, being taken down so easily by a Slayer, an infected one at that. I'm ready to see more Kyp!!

Addie= Agreed. You know he had more midichlorines per cell than Vader?!?! 27,000 per cell as opposed to Anakins 25,000!!! He should be in charge!!

Silas = I searched and I found it, but it was the same one that said Luke only had a count of like 14,000, even though George Almighty himself said that Luke had the same count as Anakin. I did read something interesting...that perhaps since the Jedi were all but extinct, the Force manifested itself much more strongly in certain individuals, resulting in much more powerful Jedi. That could explain why Jedi such as Kyp, Ganner, Kyle were so amazingly powerful, yet not related to the Skywalkers, which seems to be the thing to do if you want to be powerful.

Addie= That sounds quite probable! And there wasn't anyone in Kyp's family was there? He was like 'and exception' to the rule with no relatives? We should be having this discussion in the Kyp Durron Fan Club!

Silas= As I recall, he was definitely the only Force sensitive person in his family. Being so overwhelmingly powerful and having no prior Force sensitive family is certainly shades of Anakin Skywalker himself! Only Anakin's father was the Force itself. That's the only difference between the two. We know that Kyp was far stronger than Leia, who SHOULD have had a Force potential equal to Luke, so therefore there certainly is grounds for saying that Kyp has more potential than Luke. This would make a good fan club discussion.

Addie= I remember when Luke tested Kyp, the 'touching the mind' thingy....and Kyp's power threw Luke across the room. That should have been the dead giveaway in my mind.....and not once did anyone think 'Hang on, this lads had it tough, like really tough, and he's way strong in the force....hmmm. shades of Anakin here, lets get him into therapy before we show him what he can do!!!"

Silas= Nobody really knew what all had happened to Anakin at the time, though, if I remember correctly. I'm sure a lot of people still assumed that Anakin Skywalker had died during the Clone Wars. I'm sure the Empire kept a pretty tight lid on the whole Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker connection. At least he did complete his training. I just want to see more of him and the other masters! I want Kyp to have children! I think it would be awesome if it were a Durron that became the leader of the Jedi Council, and not a Skywalker. Let somebody else have a chance!

I hate midi-chlorians and trying to 'quantify' the Force. I also hate the Skywalkers automatically being at the top, too.

George thought of the concept even when he was working on the first film, he just chose to wait until the prequels to shine the light on the subject. Yes, the Skywalkers are on the top, but that's because their "Force Dynasty" was created by the Force itself! The Skywalkers are so powerful because that was the will of the Force. I am, however, ready for a new bloodline to take charge and give the Skywalkers a break. I would love to see what the child of Kyp and some other super powerful female Jedi (not sure who that would be) would be capable of.

Seriously, I'm sure there is someone out there who has remained undiscovered like he did for a while. Someone using their force abilities in everyday life and just thinking its normal for them, but hiding it from those round them. A small colony somewhere, farming community, isolated etc.

She wouldn't be able to become a Jedi, though. She'd have to remain just another Force sensitive. The NJO no longer accepts older candidates since they've grown in number. Kyp would train her in secret, even though he wouldn't be allowed to. It would be a big a big scandal if it ever got out.
