Last night's meeting topics

Hello all:
The following events,etc were discussed last night:

We will be doing a can food drive for the Lowcountry Food Bank. Start collecting canned and nonpersishible food items. You may be able to set up a collection box at your work or dorm. We will set up a couple of meeting times before Thanksgiving to collect all the items and then take them over to the food bank. Start spreading the word!

We will also be doing a collection for the Berkely County SPCA for December. They are in need of:
Name brand dry cat and dog food
Kitty litter
Litter pans
food dishes
leashes, collars
toys
beds, blankets
Old pet carriers
Start collecting now so we'll have a bunch to take by the shelter before Christmas. Many of us are pet owners and have collars that perhaps our pets have out grown, also we can take old-but in decent condition comforters and cut them into Kennel size beds. So there are alot of things we can do.

Lastly, Christmas Party at my house on Saturday December 6, 7pm. We'll have Star Wars themed food, and hopefully a showing of the infamous Holiday Special. More details later.

Other items are a group get together for the LOR premiere, etc.
