I can't believe that they are predicting this show to cost $5 Million an episode. I guess that's what happens when you want half the cast to be CG and the other half is live-action.

Sounds like he really wants the freedom of a cable channel instead of a network. I also get the impression that they don't have faith in a live action show enough to loose money in the production of it.

He also mentioned nothing about digital distribution. A Star Wars TV show could reinvent digital distribution.

 

I would rather have a great Star Wars movie every 2-3 years than to have a good show weekly. However, will Disney resurrect a tv show now?

Not a big shocker that it would be ABC that runs the show, as they are owned by Disney.

 

That is a good think because I don't have cable, but I do get in on my antenna. Can't wait to watch this!
