Sorry, but unless you live in Indianapolis, Europe, or Chicago, get used to nothing in the way of Star Wars conventions. Once in a blue moon, you'll get crap like the Creep Con that'll come through.

Gotcha. Well, welcome to our little corner of the boards. I've lived here my whole life and I can say that I don't remember a single Star Wars event in the area. And the Baltimore area has become a hot spot for stuff. I guess we can only hope that something like the SW Celebration will end up here someday.

    Dear Members of the Council:
Let us give CplKav a hand and welcome him to our great MD area. Surely you might have notice that there are some groups in the area (if you have been able to find them).

Our Forum usually do meetings once a month, and you are more than welcome to come. If you have read the message posted as 7th meeting, you can see we are planning for a meeting in July 20th. We are tyring to do the meetings in places where people from all MD can attend. There is no obligation or commitment, just eagerness to have a good Star Wars time.

So, welcome once more to our beautiful MD area, and to our Maryland Fan Force Group.

    Best of regards,
    Fipe Naz-Mero, JK

The reason there hasn't been a good fan celebration in MD is cuz no one started one! Someone here needs to plan a big Star Wars party! We can all bring our own booze and have lightsaber fights and beat up some trekkies! Does anyone else's weekends consist of this?

Thank you for the welcome. i will try to make the meeting. is there a too young age?
as my padawan is only 4.

There is no age limit if there is a guardian with the child. Because you're bringing the 4 year old, there shouldn't be a problem with this.

For future reference, if anyone is under 13, we ask that a guardian accompany them.

    Dear Members of the Council:
Well what do you know... I'm in the Air Force too... actually Air National Guard. And I work at the Dept. Of the Navy. All branches have come together thanks to the FORCE.

"Maybe I can fill my application to the Academy next year"

So, my good friends.... joined by another tie, the military...

May the Force be with you... always.
