Tara and I were there on Thursday, and we thought it might make a good place to have a meeting that didn't involve a movie :p It does cost $20 to get in for the whole day, but I think it could be worth it. A movie is $10 and it lasts 90-120 minutes, whereas this lasts all day long!

    Anyone interested?

EDIT: Or how about the zoo? Tis cheaper.

Also, there are afternoon rates too.

From 3:30-8:00 pm, it's $14. But then we're looking at lineups and no lawn chair thingies to sit on. Tis up to the group.

    Magic Mountain web site

And it's hard to plan an exact day to go to Magic Mountain because it all depends on the weather. You don't want to be up there on that hill when it only 23 degrees or {in the worst cases}in the rain. :p It's best to go when it's 25 degrees and up.

And IF no one likes the Magic Mountain idea, there's always the [link=http://www.moncton.org/zoo/]zoo[/link].

    For ages 12-17: $7.50
    For 18=: $8:50

I don't think we have anyone under 12 in this fanforce. Right? ;)

    We'll find you a ride, DOY. :)

And if anyone wants to bring a friend, they are welcome to join us. :)

Well, let's see, it's 12 hours from Woodstock. Shave off three hours from Moncton, yeah so it would be around 6-8 hours. [face_mischief]

Just thought I'd mention that usually the Zoo is deserted weekday evenings. Me & my family went a couple of weeks ago on a Monday, about 8PM, which is when they stop letting more people in. The Zoo closes around 9-9:30, but you only need about an hour or two to see the whole thing.
But we didn't see anyone else there, not even the zookeepers!

    Just a recommendation.

Did you climb into the monkey cages? That's what I would have tried :D

Actually, I'd have tried to get into the tiger cage :p

Well, there are quite a few mosquitos. Just put bug repellant on, I suppose.

The closest I got to the monkeys was feeding peanuts (forbidden, I know) to the cute little spider monkeys. The all cluster together and extend their arms out of the cage.

It was pretty cool having the entire petting areas to ourselves.
But BEWARE of the petting goats! Those greedy little buggers are over you like butter on corn. And their feet are covered in mud and crap, which ends up all over you.
The baby goats are pretty cute, but they run away from humans.

I went to that zoo a few times and i've got plenty of stories from it. The first time we went there the tiger urinated on my father. yeah. seriously.

And my little brother got tackled by a goat. that was pretty funny.

There's another story about my youngest brother and the baboons (i think thye were baboons) but im not allowed to post it on here. against the TOS. [face_mischeif]
