To celebrate "May the Fourth" we're going to hold our May Meet and Eat on that evening and we have something special in mind. From here I'm going to turn over the annoucements and planning to Zannah...

I'm on the phone with Eleven right now, and we are in agreement, that we should do dinner at Buccas on Wednesday May The Fourth. Meet up at 7:00pm as usual. This will be a May The Fourth Be With You celebration, and a last dinner party with Appo before he goes.

Let me know who all are going, so we can make the reservations. Thanks guys!!

On another note, the movie watching party will be on a later date.

I want to be there so bad... It ain't fair that I can't be there to see Commander Appo off to lead his troops... -sigh- Damn my contracts keeping me away from my people. Oh well... I hope you all have a great dinner and I'll be laying in my hooch thinking of you all. But there's nothing more fitting for a send off than Buccas!

Quick question on this outing! Are we doing the communal meals like last time or are we doing meals individually? I ask as there was some confusion/surprise at the last meeting at Bucca's. That and I have a coupon

to Cungr: mindtwister and myself will probably do individuals if that is ok with everyone else.

 

Eh, last time it just seemed everyone ordered a dish and then just passed it around since even the small servings feed 2-4 people. There was alot of food to take home at the end of the evening. That's what I plan to do since I'm solo anyway but I'd say everyone can do as they wish.

CHANGE OF PLANS

Zannah called me last night and Chuck will not be in town on May 4th now so his farewell dinner is postponed. Rather than spend big bucks for a farewell dinner the guest of honor won't be attending we're going to move the "May the Fourth" celebration across Hurtsbourne to El Toro's restaurant, same time at 7PM. We've eaten there before and since it will be Cinco de Mayo eve it should be a festive atmosphere.

So please repost if you intend to make it to El Toro's and I'll give them a call in advance to let them know approximately how many are coming.
