Meet 15 || Gaming Night

date: saturday, december 13
time: 6 p.m.
place: the cafe area in borders in garden city (cranston)
event: we will be holding a gaming night consisting of a rematch of SW trivial pursuit as well as a game of epic duels. some sort of dinner plans will undoubtedly be made during the evening. this is also marks one year of rhode squadron being an official fan force chapter. jeffbacca is also coordinating a secret santa gift exchange.

 

I'm there, one way or another! And I will reclaim my hard-earned title!

Is this the one on route 2 by chance?

 

it is the borders in garden city in cranston ... the only reason i suggest this is because their cafe area is much bigger than at barnes and noble.

if you're going south on 95, take exit 14, bear right on the exit. take the pontiac ave/john o. pastore center exit and take a right at the first light, take a left at the next light (at the burger king) and garden city is up the hill on your right.

those are some pretty general directions, which i know are right but that's the one i speak of.

 

As a non-RS, why is the meet so late in the day?

 

Most RS meets are at night.

 

mostly it's to accomodate those of us who will be working weekends at that time of year.

but also i think we held the december meet in the evening last year and it was cozy.

A new Star wars board game has come into my possession. I will bring it to the meet so you guys can check it out. Its called Jedi Unleashed. Its set at the geonosis stadium battle of episode 2. Sounds fun.

Yeah, well...I'm calendar-challenged
Jedi Unleashed is ok, more of a kids game than Duels is. And it's been out since Ep2 came out so you can find it at KB for like $5.

 

I've made it to just one meet... well, two, if you include bumping into Idari in the cafeteria at work. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to miss another one.

 

Probably want to disreguard my directions link now. It changed to some round about way. Its no longer from 95 south instead its rt 10 now =X

 

Can some one (or more than one) person going PM me a cell phone number in case I get lost? I am coming alone and I tend to panic when I get lost driving and I'm by myself and I do get lost very easily. Carrie, those directions better be right!
