    So what kind of fanfic do you like? I'm an old school girl myself... Classic films or EU. But prequel stuff is so EVERYWHERE that I'm afraid even EU counts as old school. Sigh.

    Spark! Are you going to the SW Exhibit in Toledo at the Toledo Museum of Art? It starts Sunday, Aug.5th with a talk by DOUG CHIANG...seating limited to 176!

    Fast Fact: Chiang is a graduate of Detroit's Center for Creative Studies. I bet he's still paying off loans. That place is mega-expensive.

    Doug Chiang lived in Dearborn for a bit, too. 1968-1972. The local connection is very important.

    :) Same Spark Vallen here. Forgot I had an account, then forgot what my credentials were! YIKES.

    Anyway, to reply to the notes left from before:

    --Got to go to the SW exhibit in Chicago then in Toledo as well. Liked it much better in Toledo because it didn't feel so crammed in!

    --Never heard of the Sparky you mentioned! Sorry. My name derivates from an old SW story I wrote in '95. The character was named Spark Vallen. hehe.

    --Fanfic : generally, I enjoy any sort of fanfic. The type I've written mostly relates to people who post on various message boards. I'll post a sign up and they submit a character. Then I do the work to blend the personalities into a story. :) www.forceacademy.com/fanfic
