We have a table per Danny, but we're going to have to sign an agreement, which he says we'll have no problem with as we're not the types to cause trouble. (They don't know us very well, do they?)

Do we want to do Trivia Contests and such this year? Any ideas on stuff like door prizes,etc.? We could always have our own SW contest, as well. Lin, do you want to just use our table, or are you going to have one of your own? Feel free to do whatever with this one, like always.

 

I think I gave you the prize bucket with all of the giveaway stuff that I had. If I didn't, let me know and I'll go through the garage again.

I meant to say we could have our own SW costume contest up there... but had typing turrets.

Something tell me the agreement we have to sign says we can't play Klingon Love Songs at our table. Or Anime Trance. Just a guess...

 

Can we do Klingon interpretive dance?

I probably won't have my own table this year. Not really anything to promote this year and whenever I'd walk away from mine last year someone had set up a game or sat down to eat there.

We may have a few more prizes here. I think a couple got left behind. I wonder if Dark Horse would send us any promos or if JJM could hook us up with some Knight Errant ones?

We can offer it to JJM to do signings if he'd like.

Ooh, good idea. I'll send him a message on facebook and see if we can do some stuff together. Was it him that got the stuff from DH sent last year, or did you contact them? If it was you, do you want to ask them this year? If not, just let me know and I'll get in touch with them. Also anything you might can do to promote and connect with your card series, including a signing and promotion might work, if you're up for it! Anyone else we can smooze to make "appearances" at our table, etc.?

Also, BJ, do you want to leave some of your fliers for your area around for those that come from Arkansas?

 

Lin contacted them, and Dark Horse sent us a ton of posters. We'll see if Lin's contact is still at Dark Horse.

 

Please tell me that the no Klingon love music is official... not just your dreams and fantasies..

I'm willing to do whatever at the table. I can always draw a card there and then we could have it as a prize.

ETA: Sent JJM a message about Del Rey and the publicity department at Lucasfilm. We'll see if they email me back.
