I mean the fallen jedi (Nikto) by Shaak Ti is actually a Tusken Raider!!! I'm glad they cut the sequence where Anakin rides the Shaak Ti from the movie, that 'riding' sequence would never have gotten us a PG rating!

The ear is different and the ridge on the head of Weequays is absent on the jedi to the left of Saesee. And as for the one to the right I admit you are right, it is a Barada.

what is this about trebor going for dooku and getting killed by jango.

 

Nah The one to the left of Saesee Tiin looks like he might be the same species as Djas Puhr.

And the other jedi does indeed look like it is a Barada:

There are two niktos that I know of in the arena (maybe more) one of which is killed by the Acklay I think was said and the other probably just shot down like so many other of the jedi are.

 

That site started to have problems and I cannot find a good picture of Djas Puhr so here is one of his figure (I cannot tell if that is a custom made figure or not)

Oh and what I was led to believe was the topknot on the jedi left of Saesee after closer inspecition was just his brown neck on the whit of his shirt (I thought it was a brown tie on grey hair). But that isnt the case it is an illusion created by the grey of the droids, the white of the shirt, and brown-black of his neck.




EDIT: Everytime I look back at the picture my opinion changes, now I think it is a topknot after all. Ah well, I'm going to see the movie tonight so I'll watch for it then.

after seeing the movie last night, things can now be officially confirmed.
There is a Weequay jedi and Barada Jedi in the final circle.
Barris does indeed die.
Plo and Ki-Adi are brought into the final circle during Mace's speech to Dooku.
The jedi that survive and get away are in fact Plo, Ki-Adi, Saesee Tiin, Shaak Ti, Luminara, Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto and Eeth Koth.
Thank goodness there will still be some kick a** Jedi in Episode3 ! Hurrah ! Any questions ?

oh man I hope you are right about the WeeQuay. Is it really obvious that it is a WeeQuay and couldn't be anything else?

Also is there only one WeeQuay jedi in the arena (or possibly multiple instances of the same one)?

Please say yes as I am that WeeQuay jedi and have been nervously awaiting the outcome of this thread... I am scared I'll be cutting room floor material.

 

I saw the film yesterday as well and no THAT IS NOT a weequay in the final circle. I specifically looked for him and the guy has wild hair not a topknot. In the picture posted in this thread it looks like he is bald however in the movie when you see him from a different angle he has a head full of hair. He looks like Djas Puhr with hair. And the other jedi you never see head on and unless there are behind the scenes pictures of the Barada it is impossible to know for sure.

How can you say that Plo Koon survives ?
I didn't see him after being brought in the circle. Where is he ?
Are there some jedi in the gunship which explodes near the one with Mace, Ki-Adi, Yoda & Kit ?

UP - for those of you who need picture verification.

 

Plo, Ki, and Ayala all survive and are brought into the circle.

 

The jedi that are in the final circle do not all necessarily survive. A gunship is shot down not to mention all the jedi go right back into battle. There is no confirmation that Plo and Ki nor Aayla survive.

 

Well, you later see Aayla, Kit Fisto, Mace Windu, and others leading Clones on the ground.....

There's no guarantee that they died either....

 

were they all Jedi Masters fighting there?
if so 1 is probably not Barriss Offee but Luminara Unduli. Barriss is her padawan.

The jedi in the final circle is a weequay...

The other jedi in the circle is a klattu (barada) jedi...

Tooltre I do not know why you keep insisting that it is those two. You never see the front of what you claim is a Barada and I've seen the movie twice each time looking ONLY at what you claim is a Weequay and I have already said it that IS NOT a Weeqauy. Weequay wear their hair in topknots not in two long thick braids one on each side of the head. Weequay also have a different earshape and have a ridge on the top of their head, and the back of teir heads are bulgy. None of that description fits what you claim is a weequay. The jedi to the left of Saesee IS NOT a weequay I believe it is a new species.

 

There are alot of lightsaber screw ups in the final circle. For example the fancy pants jedi has a green saber though when you see the aerial view of the circle he has a blue saber. Also the saber of the jedi to the left of Saesee Tiin changes from blue to green and in the circle Ki-Adi's saber is green though earlier it was blue and when he loads up into the ship afterward it is blue again.

 

BTW have you guys seen that ancient sci-fi flick from the fifties called "The Day the Earth Stood Still"...where this human looking alien arrives with a big robot?

Guess what the robot says:
