If you get the newsletter you might remember that there is an "add to" story in there. I started that, and since nobody has added to it I'm going to continue working on it. The purpose of this thread is to get some names that I can use in my story that sound "Star Wars"y. The names of the family right now are Gen, Tess, Tem, and Kinda. My other question is what planet should they be living on? Ideas?

Hmm...would the Wookies be the survivors or the predetors? Kkashiik? Khashik? How do you spell that?

    I can't click.

    Three "y"s, huh? Yikes.

The thing is my story isn't set on Kashyyk. I need somewhere else, preferably not a central location.

I got a map of the SW galaxy somewhere, I'll find it. I think it came with the Insider.

but yeah, i'm not very creative name-wise... lol sorry... of course, the dark forces books/games feature names like kyle, jan, and jessica... more earth-ish... lol yeah...

What I would suggest is going to 20000-names.com and looking up some foreign names. Star Wars especially leans towards asian names, but there are other very interesting origins and interesting names there. I had a SW character once I named Viltur Eldar which is Icelandic for Wild Fire.
