New TFN Main Site

TFN just updated with a completely re-designed website. Check it out!

One noteworthy feature is the addition of a live feed of the JC's most recent threads. You can see it on the right-hand side of the page.

You may have also noticed we've updated the banner here on the boards. In order to keep consistent with the main site, one thing we will be doing from now on is using the same JC logo on all forum banners.

I love the new features like the forum and starwars.com preview and commenting. I also like the simplicity and compactness of the redesign, although it does highlight the sheer number of ads moreso than before. If I'm honest, once you scroll past the banner, it doesn't look pretty.

And regarding the new forum banner - while I think the art itself is really cool, I just don't think it works well as a banner.

I don't like change. It took me years to get used to the old design, now Im gonna have to stick around that much longer to get used to the new look.

BTW, you can change the banner back to the MIGHTY EMPIRE if youre like me and don't like change.

In my humble opinion, that design (and all the great variations that came with it) was the best the TF.N main page ever had. It's been downhill ever since this design was abandoned.
