So CO NEXT CSFF meeting??

We've had a request to do something that doesn't require money. I think this is a good idea especially since we have several young members. The question is...what do we wanna do that doesn't cost money?

Before Sarah and I had talked about getting together on Peterson and having a meeting here. My dorm building has a nice big dayroom (tv room) with a couple couches, a huge TV and a pool table. I could hook up my DVD player to the tv and we could just hang out and watch movies.

We now have 2 members that have access to Pete AFB, and now that we're down to alpha, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem escorting you all on...that is if Claude is cool with that.

Any other suggestions? We can talk about it at the meeting tonight of course. Hey, that could be our first real CSFF business we discuss .

Hey guys, first off I want to apologize for ditching everyone tonight. My wife beeped me and had to go home because she got sick. Anyway, I have no problem escorting anyone on base. And, if that doesn't work, my house is open, at least for a few hours of entertainment. So now I am definately wanting another meeting. Hope you guys enjoyed the movie, talk to you later.

we might be able to have the next meeting at me and JGoC's house... the only problem is we have to convince our parents .

 

Yeah... my mom may be easier to convince that my dad tho... But we have all kinds of cool stuff to entertain us. We can order pizza and just have a good time.. Of course maybe the Denver guys can come down too. There's more than enough space here.

 

maybe we could plan that for our next official rmff meeting?

question: if we have the rmffers come down here, can we still count it as an official springs meeting to count toward us becoming official?

 

We have a pool table and t.v.(the cable doesn't work but we have lots of movies ) we also have a computer to use.

We are RMFF. That applies to every group in Colorado. We are just the CS division.

I can get on base if anyone needs a ride, i just have to clear it through my mom first.

 

I was just thinking... what if we have a bar-b-q at one of the parks. Like Palmer Park, or Memorial. Grills are still allowed there I think. And we can arrange it so each person brings some kind of food.

A cook out sounds good. I can make some wicked baked beans, hope you guys like bacon. Who all can cook, I can, if we're short on cooks? I think we need to bring some entertainment of some sort. Who here plays the Star Wars TCG?

 

CAN the SA and CM come and eat your food? I like bacon and I play the new TCG.

 

The Rocky Mountain Fanforce is a state wide group. Then there are individual cities that meet seperatly because it is less travelling. And we aren't necisarily the CSFF. That's just the title of the thread.

 

I think you guys need to decide that, are you trying to become another fanforce, or are you meeting as the Colorado Springs members of the RMFF.

I've followed all the threads and you don't all seem to be on the same page.

I'd be honestly interested in what would be the advantages of being a separate FanForce as opposed to being a part of a group with people who are willing to support many diverse activies and distancing yourself from resources like the website and the already established interest groups.

 

it really doesn't matter to me either way. I just wanna do a group thing w/o having to travel to Denver every month. It's nice and easy for you guys up there to not care about this because you don't have to drive an hour and a half to meet up with the RMFF.

we can be our own, or we can be an RMFF subdivision, but either way we will be a different group, even if we're part of a bigger group. Of course as far as I'm concered all RMFFers are welcome to come to our springs meetings too.

Do you guys have a problem if we actually became an official group? Does it matter to you what we are on the forums or just what we are in actuality?

 

Thought I'd post a poll on this topic. Honestly I would like to be a part of the RMFF. We will be bigger, better recognized, and I like the Denver people too much not to have an excuse to hang out with them occasionaly
