*NFL Mock Draft*

Welcome to the 1st installment of the moderator approved Arena NFL Mock Draft!

How it works:

We will have sign ups for one week. I'll start out the list, and from there you copy and paste your name with the team you wish to represent. Teams will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

After the sign up period, I will post the draft order, and the list of eligible draftees. We will then start to do a mock draft, with whoever is playing the Raiders picking first, all the way down the line, for 5 rounds.

There will be a 24 hour time limit for GM's to make their picks. If they don't make their pick in that time period, the GM will be bumped until the end of the round.

To put it simply, you are going to be the GM for whatever team(s) you sign up for, for the duration of the draft. Trades are allowed, as long as both parties validate the trade by stating it in the draft thread. You can include current players for your team in the trade, but make sure that those players are indeed on your team to begin with. I'll update the draft order and the draftee list as often as I can.

Feel free to (nicely) debate/discuss picks. That's what will make this fun!

Try to keep this as realistic as possible (i.e. don't trade Peyton Manning for a fourth round pick), and try to do whatever you can to improve your team(s) in whatever way you think they need to be approved!

But most importantly, have some fun!


As a note, when you sign up, you can sign up for a maximum of two teams. If we get to the end of the period and there are still teams that need GM's, I'll let you be in charge of more than 2 teams.

Also, may I suggest that rather than bumping them to the end of the round, the "commish" simply make a pick for that team after 24 hours has passed.

We did this on a Saints forum, and it took us a few weeks to go through the entire 7 rounds. Here's a link to our draft. We had to cut the time limit to 90 mins for the later rounds.

If you feel really strongly about only having one team, let me know that as well.

Look for the Raiders to be on the clock sometime tomorrow...

If anything, we can at least get through the first round.

And because we're getting so close, I'll change the limit to 12 hours, and then I'll sim a pick. If you get simmed, and you would like to pick for another team that is ran by me or somebody else, that can be arranged.

yeah I know another receiver the Lions have taken in the first round, but Calvin is the possession receiver that will help Kitna escape a few more sacks this season, and hopefully Calvin won't be a bust like Williams,Williams, and Roger.
