Anyone who is driving or renting a car can contact me about ultra budget hotels. I've narrowed down to 3 I'm picking from
tonight.

 

Maulfly and I are strongly considering going. Within the span of 30 minutes, we went from "IF we go it's just for C6, no Disney" to "we really should stay on site at Disney for the week, bring mom, and get the dining plan." LOL

 

It looks like the Rosen Plaza and Rosen Centre are already sold out. Is this possible? I?m hoping more rooms open up since these are the closest to the convention enter.

 

did anyone see if the Peabody was listed as one of the hotels?
It's not on the hotel list so i wasn't sure if they just don't have it yet or it's gone like the Rosen??

I think both the Peabody and the Rosen are both sold out -WOW!

 

Neither the Rosen Plaza or Peabody were listed at all, only the Rosen Centre. Which means they are either not part of the con hotels, or are part of a block that will be released later.

 

My Fiance Andy and I snoozed too long, so no Rosen.
We're booked at the Embassy Suites Hotel Jamaican Court
We don't mind having to rent a car and drive

 

Tried to book directly with the Peabody and couldn't do that either.
Figure they'll show up later.
Last year I booked with them 4 months prior to August and got a great room.
However, just in case I went ahead and reserved at the Hilton (I'm a member of the Honors Club there).
If anyone sees the Peabody listed, post here ASAP for me.....THANKS!!!!

 

Wendynat and family will be at the Rosen Centre - Tidewater Fanforces. We got in before it got booked up/before the block was reserved out. As others have said, I was on the site within five minutes of it being open and the Peabody and Rosen Plaza were never an option. I have a feeling they will have additional hotels appearing as time goes on (for example, none of the Marriott properties are listed yet and there were a ton of those last time).

Probably a little different this time since we're over a year out on the announcement - most hotels only have a 12 or 13 month standard "booking" window.

 

It seems the Rosen center was booked up yesterday. This morning I went online and it's now available to book again. Maybe they are releasing block of rooms per day. Good Luck all. The CFF has 3 rooms so far at the Rosen.

 

Just booked our room at The Peabody and received the e-mail confirmation!

 

One question do they take your money straight away or are you just using your card to hold the reservation ? Also do you have to give a deposit ? BTW my hotel of choice will probably be the Orlando Hilton.

So far we have 4 rooms booked.

 

I am determined to room at the Rosen Centre Hotel this time. I'm bringing a costume for the first time and don't plan on waiting long in that heat to commute back to a hotel that's a mile down the road. Now all I need are roommates to split the cost.

 

They just used my number to hold the res - thank goodness as this is a rent payday!

 

Last year a friend and myself attended our first ever Celebration, it was the best experience of both of our lives. We were truly blown away, but we both felt like it could have been much better. We didn't really plan for any events and did everything on a day by day basis, we didn't have our costumes ready, and we didn't know which hotel to stay in. This year we are going to make amends for these mistakes and plan every single possible thing out. So the question I had for anyone that might have information was which are the most stayed at hotels for Celebration attendees? I'm not sure if people congregated more so at one hotel over another, but if this is the case I'd love to be there with my people. Thanks.

 

Booked myself at the Rosen Centre. Should be much nicer (and closer) than the La Quinta from last year.
Guess I should think about buying tickets now.

From the OnPeak reservation site:
"Approximately 30 days prior to start of event, the HOTEL, NOT ONPEAK will charge your credit card a deposit equal to one night's room charge plus tax"

 

I just reserved a room for me and my better half (TheRascalKing) for the full week at the Days Inn. My confirmation email also said I won't be charged anything until the month before the convention, so there's plenty of time to change plans if needed ... like if anyone wants to book an exciting villa like last time.

 

I just booked at the Rosen Plaza. Thats where i stayed at for C5.
